I am so proud of myself as I was able to survive the entire month of April without buying any makeup at all. I may have had few discount coupons emailed to me but I stayed strong and didn’t fall for it. A HUGE Shout Out to my Cyber-Friends for giving me the boost to stay tough. 🙂 (high five you guys!!)

Now, it’s the 2nd day of May and I kind of bought just a few items. The first two items I grabbed is the Revlon ColorBurst – Lacquer Balm. I love these balms so much as they are very hydrating on the lips. I also love how they smell. It’s almost like the smell of a toothpaste as it smells “minty” and they glide on your lips like butter.

I got the shade Tease #130 and Demure #105.

Another item I got is for my nails and it’s the Rimmel London (60 seconds) nail polish in the shade “Mind the Gap, Victoria” #503.. SURPRISE…SURPRISE!!! 😛 I thought I need this in my collection so why not grab it right? 🙂

I have been looking for a retractable face brush that is very smooth, pretty (packaging)  and most of all affordable and since I love the Essential Tools brand so much.. I got so excited when I saw this.. I really like the color as it’s very visible if you throw this inside your purse/bag. Very handy and since it has a cap, it makes it even better as it protects the brush/bristles from dust and dirt. Use this with powder, bronzer or blush, and this cost me only $4.98 isn’t that awesome?? You guys should try this if you’re looking for one and let me know what you think! ❤
