I finally received my very first Ipsy Glam Bag for this year. I was actually looking forward to this month’s bag because I was a little bit disappointed with my December products.
This month’s theme is called All Eyes On You, so with that they sent products just for our beautiful eyes.
I’ve seen other Ipsy subscribers posts and it looked interesting so when I got my bag, I immediately opened it.
Here are the items I got in my January Glam Bag.
Mitchell and Peach English Leaf Body Cream – This body cream smells really good! I find it calming and I hope this is also hydrating just how it’s being described. I love how it’s non-sticky but it absorbs easily on my skin. The aromatic scent is my favorite part of this body cream.
English Leaf fragrance, it’s a classical ‘green floral’ with an English twist.
- Nourishes and protects skin
- Uplifting aromatic fragrance
- Pure essential oils and English honey
pur~lisse BLUE LOTUS 4-in-1 Eye Adore Serum – I’ve never tried using any eye serum before. It’s being described as it fight against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, while hydrating and lifting the delicate eye area. Not a fan of the smell and not so excited about this product too. But I might still give it a try.
theBalm Cosmetics Mr. Write (Now) – Another product from theBalm Cosmetics makes me happy. I love most of the products I received from them. The name of this eyeliner is very interesting it’s called Mr. Write (Now) what a different name right? I got the shade Jack B. Bronze (rich bronze) and with a quick swatch on my hand it glides smoothly and stayed on that long. Another good thing about this eyeliner is that it does have a built in sharpener which makes our lives easier. Great job theBalm Cosmetics!
Beau Gâchis Paris Smudge Brush – Hurray for another brush! Thank you Ipsy for this smudge brush. I’ve been collecting makeup brushes lately and this is for sure be added in my collection.
It’s best describe as;
- Excellent for blending colors or smudging out gel or other liners
- Eco-friendly matte black wooden handle as used by professionals
- Assembled by hand for exceptional quality
Hikari Cosmetics Cream Metallic Pigment Shadow – Last but not the least, is a full size Cream Metallic Pigment Shadow in the shade Mink. This shadow is really smooth and lightweight and I love the Hikari blush that I received from one of my Ipsy Glambag before so I’m sure I will love this pigment shadow too.
Wait! How about the bag? Yes! The bag itself is probably my favorite of all the Glam Bags I received from Ipsy.
Getting products like this for $10.00 a month with an awesome makeup bag is worth it.
What do you guys think about your January Glam Bag?

Thanks! I was really excited when I saw it.. Very smooth and almost similar to Loreal Infallible eye shadow too.. It’s so smooth.. I think this can be used as a highlighter too..😊

Is the shimmer too overwhelming? I was thinking if it can also be used for contouring? 😊

Im not sure about the contouring piece.. Not too overwhelming shimmer but nice for tear-dot or highlighter for sure..
