Ok, I’m sure you already have a clue as to what this post is all about!

Since Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, why not talk about something RED.

I gathered some of the red lipsticks in my collection and maybe this will give you a little bit of an excitement to share your favorite red lipsticks too.💄

Now, let’s begin..

To start with, I chose something on the “high end” category if I may say.

  • NARS – Future Red Lipstick
  • CHANEL (Rouge Allure) – PALPITANTE (102)
  • DIOR ADDICT (Ultra Gloss Flash) – 856

NARS Future Red lipstick is very rich and creamy, it melts on your lips like butter but it doesn’t smear at all (you know how NARS rule right?). While the Dior Ultra Gloss Flash is great if you are a lipgloss fan. You can apply this on it’s own or on top of your desired lipstick. However, If you are not brave enough to wear this bright red shades from NARS and DIOR, I recommend picking CHANEL’s PALPITANTE instead as it’s almost in between red and fuchsia in a very subtle way.

Now, on the “Drugstore” category.

  • RIMMEL LONDON (SHOW OFF) Lip Lacquer in BIG BANG
  • NYX LIQUID SUEDE Cream Lipstick in CHERRY SKIES
  • L’OREAL Paris BALM Pop in FIERY RED
  • WET n’ WILD MegaLast Lip Color in CELEB SIGHTING

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer is very pigmented and with just one swipe, you are good to go. NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick is the darkest shade on the bunch as I thought some of you might prefer to wear a darker shade than the brighter ones. L’oreal Paris Balm Pop is the safest on the list as this can be used as a Lip Balm or build them up for a more brighter and vibrant result and lastly, this Wet n’ Wild MegaLast Lip Color is my go-to lip product especially if you are into Matte finish lipsticks.

  6. Oooh that Nars Future Red looks so lovely! Red lips are completely outside my comfort zone so I rarely buy red lipsticks. I prefer sheer formulas so I can layer. So that L’OREAL Paris BALM Pop in Fiery Red is right up my alley! Great overview of red lipsticks. Do you wear red regularly?

      I used to wear red almost everyday as well as on nail polishes.. But since someone in my family passed away, I stopped wearing red for a year (superstitious beliefs) that’s how I started wearing nudes and other shades.. But red is my ultimate fave..😍
