You might be wondering why this is not an “Unboxing” video right? well, for some reason I decided not to film for this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. And sure enough… I’m glad I didn’t and I will tell you in a bit.

But before anything else, let’s check out what I received in my bag.

Very interesting description on this frizz control gel as well it’s main ingredients. Now I cannot wait to try this out.

The ANTIDOTE Cooling Daily Lotion

Cooling Daily Lotion!??! I guess we all need one right now.. But the scent of this lotion is just not my favorite, it doesn’t smell fresh and smells kinda “chemically”. Wish it could be more pleasant. I am not sure if I can even tolerate the scent on my skin.

A friend of mine raved about this face primer that is why I had a huge smile on my face when I saw this in my bag. All I need to do is put this product to the test.

Meet Matt(e) Trimony Eyeshadow in Matt Kumar or Matt Moskowitz

I got the shade Matt Moskowitz which is described as a matte plum. I may not have a lot of products from theBalm Cosmetics but so far, I have been impressed with the items I own from their collection.

Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner in Lauren (Matte Black)

The only black liner you’ll ever need. Super smooth, super pigmented with super staying power. Plus a built-in sharpener and smudge tip.

Super smooth indeed! with just one swipe, the product died (LOL). Normally when I swatch a product on the back of my hand (like what we always do) we can test the staying power of the product as we use our hands all the time. We wash our hands, wipe the product off, or even sleep with it and some products stayed-put. But this liner did not even live up to it’s name “Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner”, definitely not long lasting. Really disappointing product!

How about the bag itself? Well, I’m sorry but I think it’s my least favorite of all. It’s kind of forced to look and feel like summer. I Don’t get me wrong but Parasailing is one of the highlights of mine and my hubby’s adventure, but this did not win me at all. The hologram effect is cute but uugghhh I am still not convinced.

Verdict!

I may like some of the products in this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag but it could have been better. I am so glad I didn’t waste my time setting up to film for an “Unboxing” video. This is probably one of the most disappointing bag I’ve ever received from Ipsy. I’ve been a bit unhappy with Ipsy lately so I guess it’s time to re-evaluate and decide.. down

  1. I did one, and I was so disappointed as well, at least you got the Hangover Rx, that might have saved my disappointment, because its one of my favourite primers. Currently working through about a billion other ones before I repurchase, but none the less I will repurchase soon.

      Yes! I saw your video..👍🏻😀 and yeah some of the items are good but also maybe because I opened my Play box first which blew my mind so the expectation on this one is a bit high..Haha but I will still keep it maybe for another month and see what’s next!

          haha.. yeah it’s really soft and really dark too which seemed great. But I don’t think this is long lasting, with one swipe it just vanished unlike the other liners I have. 🙂

  3. I like all the items you got in your Ipsy well – well, except for that crappy eyeliner! The other things, I’d use them all! I thought the umbrella design was cute? Are you in a grumpy mood? 😆 😛

      Hahahahahahhahaha Stashy! I was grumpy coz I was just not happy with it.. I like the primer and the eyeshadow but the rest.. The lotion smells 😖, the eyeliner’s death was 😳 and the bag is not that bad, but it could have been better.. I will still use this but probably won’t be my first option..😜

          Maybe because I was so happy with my Sephora box and had high hope on this one?? My friend got a really good one.. Other subscribers got great stuff too! Hehe
