Hi beauty lovers!
I am sharing with you today a haul that I’ve collected over the past year (2016). I started buying makeup at Nordstrom Rack because they are so inexpensive and such an amazing products at the same time.
Nordstrom Rack opened here in Albany, New York last Fall of 2015. And when they opened, I didn’t really care checking the store out, until Spring came.
I’ve decided to visit the store just because and I bumped into their beauty section. They have a decent area of high-end skincare, haircare and of course makeup products. I got really excited and started exploring what they got!
Let’s start with the very first item courtesy of Nordstrom Rack.
I had my eyes on this palette back in December of 2015 but unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to purchase one. If I’m not mistaken, this was a Limited Edition Holiday set from Stila which cost $54.00 (a $225.00 value).
Nordstrom Rack had this for only $24.97 and without a second thought, I took one home. There were only four of this palette left during that time so lucky enough, one is definitely meant for me. I’ve used this palette several times and I LOVE this palette so much!
On my second visit to Nordstrom Rack, I noticed this LORAC ‘The Getaway” palette which I’ve never seen before. I’ve haven’t tried any products from LORAC (I know, I know) and have been wanting to purchase one of their LORAC Pro palette, so I thought this would be a great way to try their product out.
This palette cost $14.97 (yup! only three cents savings), a Limited Edition and a Nordstrom exclusive was for me a good deal. It comes with six very blendable eyeshadows, a gorgeous blushes, bronzer and a highlighter with a decent sized mirror. What else can you ask for?
I love Too Faced products and on my third visit, this palette caught my attention for sure! This was sold originally for $49.00 now on sale on the Too Faced website for $44.10 while I paid only $16.97.
I love the packaging and the design of this palette. Highly pigmented and super easy to blend. However, if you are not a fan of shimmery shadows then this might not be the palette for you. But! don’t be fooled by it’s sparkles because you can definitely create a lot of amazing eye look with this palette.
This palette also comes with a full size black Perfect Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner with a smudger on the other end for a more dramatic result.
This Selfie Powders really look different. I wasn’t sure if I can even use it or not. It comes with three shades for different filter results. SUNRISE for a more normal result. TOTALLY TOASTED for a bronzed smoothing glow effect while MOON RIVER for a cool ethereal light effect.
These powders are super lightweight, nice pigmentation and easy to blend. Originally sold for $36.00 while currently on sale on the Too Faced website for $32.40 while I paid $14.97 at Nordstrom Rack. What do you think?
I’m sure this product is not new to most of you. And I was so excited when I saw this Urban Decay Naked Flushed compact during my quick visit at the store. I’ve had my eyes on this compact for a good number of years but I wasn’t sure if I really want to pay $34.00 for a Bronzer, a tiny highlighter and a blush. Fortunately, Nordstrom Rack had this for only $10.97 so I grabbed two. I bought one for myself and one for my little sister as a present when I visited home.
This is such an amazing product, with an awesome sized mirror that is great for travel. I’ve used this a ton and still a lot left. Highly pigmented, so a tiny product goes a long way!
This is probably the most expensive item that I purchased so far. When I saw this UD XX Vice LTD Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette, I was blown away with it’s gorgeousness. It has a lot of colors to choose from. You got some neutrals, brights, shimmers and more.
I couldn’t resist since I know this was an “ultra limited-edition collection features 20 addictive shades of Eyeshadow that span Urban Decay’s entire 20-year history“. I was impressed by it’s packaging, a huge mirror and it’s amazing pigmentation. I never thought that I would reach for this palette so much and I was able to use this a few times during the holiday season. I paid $33.97 for this palette with an original price of $56.00. This product is no longer available on the UD website, ULTA or even at Macy’s. Though it’s still being sold at Urban Decay UK for £43.
I will be sharing a more detailed review on these products one of these days, but in the meantime. Let me play with them ever more! 🙂
