It’s time so share my thoughts on the January goodies that I received from my Play! by Sephora box. I’ve tried all the products that I got so what are we waiting for?

The bag is really cute. It has a mesh design on the back while the print on the front says “Sweat is just another way to Glow“.

Youth To The People Kale + Spinach + Hyaluronic Acid Age Prevention Cream

Thoughts:

• Smells really nice (like leaves or smells like a green plant but in a pleasant way)
• Product absorbs quickly on the skin
• Gentle on my sensitive skin
• Not greasy or oily after application
• A tiny amount of product goes a long way
• Feels like a primer and not a moisturizer
• Non-drying but not hydrating either

tarte FRXXXTION Stick Exfoliating Cleanser

Thoughts:

• I am obsessed with this exfoliating cleanser from tarte
• Very gentle on my skin
• Perfect amount of exfoliant (not harsh at all)
• Keeps my skin feeling clean and fresh
• Very convenient packaging
• Amazing product!

Ouai Treatment Masque

Thoughts:

• I haven’t noticed any difference on my hair with this Ouai Treatment Masque.
• This is probably my second product from Ouai and both were disappointing items.

CLINIQUE Almost Lipstick (Black Honey)

Thoughts:

At first glance, I was a little bit disappointed with the shade but,

• This is a beautiful “my lips but better” lipstick shade
• It’s not black, not maroon but;
• a sheer lipstick that glides and feels like a lip balm
• DON’T be fooled by the packaging… 🙂

AmorePacific Color Control Cushion Compact Broad Spectrum SPF 50+

Thoughts:

I’ve never tried any “cushion” product before so this is in fact my first.

• This product is very light coverage
• Buildable but still doesn’t cover enough
• Good for an everyday wear (no makeup look)
• Dewy finish
• lightweight but not long lasting
• Smells like paint 😦

Bonus Fragrance

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly

I have been going back and forth to take a sniff on this specific fragrance at Sephora but I find it too strong and too florally. But after receiving this sample size fragrance and wore it for the entire day, the scent actually grew in me and I am loving it! It is indeed a strong scent but it will eventually settle and stays on really nicely on the skin leaving you with an elegant lingering smell.

And there you have it, another great items for $10.00/month! 🙂
