I know.. I know.. another SUPER late post here. But I’m just catching up so I thought I’d still share. I didn’t want to skip a month so please bear with me. I’ve been so preoccupied lately with work and just finishing my house projects, as well as family visiting so it’s definitely crazy and fun at the same time.

But before we proceed, I just want to let you know that my August box for some reason didn’t come in the mail so I had to wait until I received them in September.

So without further adieu, let’s proceed!

The Innovators

• BEAUTYBLENDER beautyblender micro.mini ($18.00) – I use this to apply my concealer since I’m using a different makeup blending sponge (from StyleWurks) to apply my foundation and so far so good. Is it worth the splurge? hhmm… I recommend to get the full size rather than paying $18.00 for two micro-mini’s.

• KAT VON D Lock-It Concealer Crème in #3 ($26.00) – Probably my very first concealer from Kat Von D and if you’re looking for a full coverage concealer then this is the one. However, the shade is just too peachy for my skin tone so I haven’t had the chance to enjoy it that much. The applicator is soft and a bit fuller which makes the application easy. The consistency and blendability is definitely worth a try. If only this was my shade, it could have been perfect!

• HOURGLASS Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick ($46.00) – I’ve been wanting to try this foundation stick from Hourglass but I didn’t want to spend $46.00 and might not even like it. I hate returning products so I’m just really glad to have received this in my Play! by Sephora box. This foundation melts like butter and blends effortlessly. I got the shade Satin Finish, it’s a little lighter for my skin tone but still works well. Will I purchase the full size? hhmm.. if I have extra $$ to spend then Yes!

• LANCER The Method: Polish ($75.00) – This product is amazing! The scent reminds me of a spa. I enjoy the super fine granules (microbeads) more than the CLINIQUE Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser. This doesn’t foam up and still works beautifully. It exfoliates really really well leaving my skin feeling soft, clean and hydrated.

• ALTERNA HAIRCARE CAVIAR Anti-Aging Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist ($30.00) – I am impressed with this volume mist. I have fine hair and sometimes I like to add volume to it too. This mist gives me that volume that I look for. It doesn’t leave my hair greasy whatsoever.

  

Bonus Fragrance

• DOLCE&GABBANA Light Blue ($76.00) – I like the scent of this perfume, very feminine and subtle. However, I don’t find anything special with this perfume so for me it’s not my fave. I’m sure to some, you guys will enjoy this.

All in all I’m so glad that I received my August Play! by Sephora box instead of a full $10.00 refund.
