I thought I’d share this quick haul today since I’m excited to pop these goodies asap. I like going to Ocean State Job Lot to buy products that I like and to discover items that I’ve never seen or tried before at a very affordable price. If you’ve been following my blog since day one, you’ve heard me mention this store quite a lot (link HERE for reference).
However, if this is the first time you’ve heard of Ocean State Job Lot, here’s a quick introduction for you.
Ocean State Job Lot is the largest closeout retailer in the Northeast. We opened our first store on August 15, 1977 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. We started the business with the idea that people work hard for their money, so if we can help them stretch their dollars by saving them money, we’ll be successful. So far, so good!
My intention of going to Ocean State Job Lot was to buy this Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes because for some reason, it’s been sold out at Walmart lately.
However, upon browsing their facial wipes isle I saw this Charcoal Makeup Remover Wipes from a brand called dp elements and they’re selling it for $2.99. I haven’t heard from this brand before but this makeup remover wipes sounds very interesting.
Benefits:
- Refines skin texture
- Minimizes pores
- Absorbs impurities
This comes in 60 towelettes at a decent size and it smells good too. What encouraged me to purchase this makeup remover wipes is that, it’s made in USA and it’s not tested on animals! I tried looking for this brand online but I can’t seem to find it anywhere, sorry.
Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, my all time favorite cleansing facial wipes. I’ve repurchased this several times and still one of the best cleansing wipes I’ve ever used. Very gentle on my skin and super affordable too. This retails for $4.49 at Walmart and paid $3.99 at Ocean State Job Lot.
Lastly, I found this Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup, .8 fl oz and this time, I got the shade (200) Sand Beige for only $5.00 which retails from $8.48 to $11.95 depending on where you purchase them. I bought one in the past and I loved it a lot, click HERE to check out my past review.
And there you have it! Gotta go, I need to try the Charcoal Makeup Remover Wipes and keep an eye out for my thoughts on my Instagram page.
That Revlon foundation is great – if only the packaging wasn’t so bulky!

yes, that’s probably why it’s discontinued. But I saw a new whipped cream foundation in a different packaging, maybe it’s the same formula? still not willing to pay the $$ it’s a bit over my ideal price. 🙂
