Let’s talk “Throwback”…

I love drugstore products a lot. Aside from the quality they are very affordable too. I am not the type of person that splurge on expensive things but if I have to, why not?

Today, I will be sharing three of my favorite things from L’oreal Paris makeup. I’m very picky when it comes to lip products as I’ve had a really bad allergic reaction before. “NEW” Rimmel London Kate Sculpting & Highlighting Kit

Another exciting product that I saw at the drugstore mainly Walmart is from the brand Rimmel London by Kate Moss collection. I am not sure if this is in fact “NEW” but I’ve never seen them before. You guys know that I am an avid fan of this brand that’s why my eyes almost popped when I saw them. 🙂

Wow! where did our week go?

I guess it’s time to do a quick recap of what I’ve shared on my Instagram and Twitter!

MONDAY

Monday Basics! Showed some love to this Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I’ve had this for quite sometime now and they still looked unused. I love how pigmented this palette is and the shade is just perfect for everyday use. I’ve been using the shades VENUS, NAKED2 and FAINT. This palette is perfect for newbies and pros too!

TUESDAY

This Sephora blush in CORAL CRUSH is amazing! This shade is just great for my skin complexion and I love the hint of shimmer on this product as it serves as a highlighter too. The shimmer effect is not overwhelming and because it’s very pigmented, you don’t have to apply a ton on your cheeks. What I noticed about this product is that, the longer it stays on your skin the better it looks.

WEDNESDAY

Lipstick Wednesday! Here’s my lip combo last week, and since it’s Wednesday then we gotta have some Pink right? But before I apply anything on my lips, I had to apply my Holy Grail Carmex Original Lip Balm to moisturize those lips. I then applied L’ORÉAL Colour Riche Le Matte Lipcolour Stick in She’s so Matte then paired with NYX COSMETICS Retractable Lip Liner in Nude Pink. These lip products are super pigmented, non-drying and long lasting too with an awesome result on your lips.

THURSDAY

Still loving UD Naked Basics palette and for my lashes I was wearing MAYBELLINE Pumped Up! Colossal Volum’Express Glam Black then brought out my old friend from MAC Cosmetics in PINCH ME to give these cheeks some glow and finished the look with my new favorite lipstick from RIMMEL LONDON The Only One Lipstick in You’re All Mine.

FRIDAY

Both items are sample sizes from IPSY ‘s Glam Bags. tarte Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer  and tarte Smooth Operato Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder are both amazing and it’s definitely worth the hype!

Top 3 ft. Topshop!

When I hear the word TOPSHOP, I think about clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. But Topshop has great beauty products too!

In this post, I will be sharing my Top 3 beauty items from Topshop.

BLUSH

Do It Again powder blush is such a gorgeous shade, very pigmented, super lightweight and the color payoff is just amazing when it touches your cheeks. The packaging is very compact, convenient to carry around, not too small and not too big either, this comes with a mirror which makes it even better. This perfect PEACH shade has a very subtle shimmer which makes your skin glow beautifully.

(FYI: I dropped this blush a few times and it’s still in-tact)

HIGHLIGHTER

SUNBEAM (Gold) Highlighter is the only highlighter that I’ve reached the most. It may look “yellowish” or “goldish” in the picture or up-close but this product is just one of a kind. Just like the powder blush, this highlighter is very pigmented, not powdery and the shimmer is just perfect for your skin. I’ve used this multiple times and they still look untouched. I normally uses my fingertips when applying this highlighter as I feel like it glides better and applies better on my skin. The only thing that I wish this highlighter has is a mirror. But I mean, for the price and quality? I guess I can skip that mirror part. Right?

LIPS

I almost forgot that I have this lipstick, I purchased this when I went to NYC back in December. This lipstick is so smooth on the lips, the pigmentation is awesome, the packaging is adorable and the price is super affordable. I got the shade ROLE MODEL (FUSCHIA) and this is a matte finish lipstick which I love. Look at the last photo below, this lipstick is obviously long lasting. I used a damped paper towel to remove them and it doesn’t want to leave my skin!

Fun Facts: All TOPSHOP products are imported and shipped from the UK.

Verdict: I never regret purchasing any of these items. From the product,
the packaging (If you’ve seen my last post Jewelry Obsessed! you know that I love “stars) and the price… it’s worth every penny.

CONS: NONE

“I wish we have Topshop store around as I would prefer seeing the
product up-close than purchasing online without me swatching or seeing how
the color or shade would look on my skin”.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and to those who got hit by the snow storm, I hope you all are safe and warm.

I thought I’d do a quick recap on what I shared on my Instagram and Twitter accounts. If you get the chance and wants to see what I’m up to when I’m not blogging, go ahead and follow me and give me a “haller” and I will follow back!

Monday

This was my Monday morning companion. I’ve been trying to use some of my old makeup so they won’t go to waste. This is Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm Balm in the shade DEMURE (105). I love the “minty” feel on this balm and is definitely hydrating. You can use this all by itself or use it on top of you favorite lipstick as a lip shiner.

Tuesday

While there’s a beautiful thin sheet of snow on the ground, I thought I’d take a quick snap on the mother of all my purses. This Celine Micro purse was given to me by my hubby on our wedding anniversary few years back and I rarely use this so it won’t get damaged. This can carry a lot of things but I don’t recommend using this when you’re wandering around for a long period of time as it tends to get really heavy on the arm. 

 Wednesday

On Wednesday’s we got to have some Pink! Another re-discovery of yours truly and I used to have quite a few of these Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer but I gave some to my sister back home since they don’t have Rimmel London products there yet. (in case you’re wondering where is home? it’s in the Phlippines). This is in the shade NOVA (102).

Thursday

One of my very few high end products if I must say. This is the Dior Addict High Shine in 260. Aside from the very elegant packaging, the product is also SUPER Hydrating. I never regret having this lip product in my collection.

Friday

Eye Shadow Friday! I almost forgot I have this MAC eyeshadow in RICEPAPER Frost. This shadow is very smooth, super pigmented and can be used just by itself or as a base and mix with other shade of you choice. (Of course it’s from MAC, then it better be great right?)
