I have been wanting to do this post and finally It’s here.
I was not a YouTube fan until one day, I just started browsing YouTube out of curiosity and bumped into a makeup tutorial video. I was entertained at that very moment so I decided to keep watching. I didn’t even know what’s the “Subscribe” button is for until I hit it..(sad right?lol) and since then I’m hooked.
Well, we should get started… and as always, I will try to keep this post short and concise as I’m sure most of you know these people and if not, I will include the links for you to check them out.
So, this girl is the very first “YouTuber” that I followed ever! I found her videos very simple and full of heart. Her name is Ingrid Nilsen and used to be known as “MIssGlamorazzi” I love how she demonstrate all her tutorials and most of the time, she uses products that we all can afford. I also love her sense of humor and I feel like she is a very genuine person. I noticed lately that she kind of changed her theme but I still like it. We all know that there’s nothing permanent in this world anyway so maybe she is just trying to be more mature and move to a different path. But then again, there’s nothing wrong with it and she is still the same “MissGlamorazzi” that I liked. And by the way, she is also one of the most successful Beauty Guru nowadays. Amazing!

Next stop, TheMakeupChair I love her videos because it’s short and very informative. She doesn’t waste your time with introductions and she is very clear in giving instructions or tips in applying makeup or just about anything. I love how articulate she is and I always look forward to her videos. And one more thing, she don’t use high end products all the time so it’s very easy for everyone to learn.
If you are looking for someone that does product reviews starting from application until the end of the night, this YouTuber is my go to gal Tati or also known as the “Glam Life Guru”. I used to have a love and hate relationship with this guru until I have watched few of her videos all at once. She proved me wrong and since then, I always check her videos first before purchasing something because to me, her reviews seemed legit without any sugar coating at all.

Let’s move on to a little bit more fancy guru. Fleur DeForce is also on top of my list, her videos are great and if you are more into high-end products then she is your girl. I get excited when she posts videos about “Haul” and gosh you should check out her My Shoe Collection: High Heels! and My Handbag Collection – Part 1 and she also guested in Project Runway which is awesome!
Tanya Burr who doesn’t know Tanya Burr?? She is one of my most watched beauty guru to date. She just seemed so nice and very lucky to have her own beauty line too. I would love to try her Tanya Burr Lip products but unfortunately, it’s not yet available her in the U.S. I follow her on Instagram too as well as the rest of the gurus mentioned above.

Moving on to Essie Button, her sense of humor is just majestic! Her videos are not complicated at all and they are very easy to follow. She is very simple and super funny. I love her style and I just love her. 🙂

To all of you who are Bronzer junkie, lipstick junkie and just obsessed with everything beauty and fashion related. This next guru is something else. I don’t even know where to start and how to describe her but if you want to learn different makeup tutorials, you guys should check her out. Casey Holmes is the name and her style is just amazing! 🙂

For my teenager followers, I also have one YouTuber for you and that is Ava Allan. She is definitely someone that most young girls would look up to especially her fashion style. She is also a TV personality so I’m sure the younger generation recognizes her. She landed her first modeling job for Disney catalog when she was only six, and has continued to model for many national magazines and catalogs. She also landed numerous national commercials most notably Angry Birds, Hyundai, Hasbro and Nissan. Her television debut came at the age of ten on Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson VP”. (She reminds of of the innocent Kylie Jenner and Lindsay Lohan..haha) So, If you are interested go check her out! Her style is really really cute, young and fun.. 🙂
Last but definitely not the least.. Michelle Phan yes her! haha.. who doesn’t recognize this personality. She is the “Ipsy girl” right? and speaking of IPSY I am so excited because I just subscribed last week so I am looking forward to receive my first glam bag soon… What else can I say about Michelle? she is awesome, her tutorials are very informative, very inspiring and a very successful beauty guru.
