I love makeup in general, may it be eyeshadow, blushes or lipsticks I want them all. And I was so privileged to be chosen by Make Beauty to do a product review on their eyeshadow and lipstick too.

Quick overview: MAKE is made in our hometown, NYC. It is paraben-free and never tested on animals. A percentage of sales is donated to our non-profit partner, We See Beauty Foundation, supporting women-led, worker-owned cooperative businesses across the Americas.

I received a sample size eyeshadow in the shade Alabaster (a warm white with a peach undertone).

Matte Finish Eyeshadow
Turn heads with this stunning, intensely pigmented shadow in an array of blendable shades. The velvety matte powder goes on smoothly with a crease-resistant, oil-free formula that looks fresh for hours after you’ve applied it. Vitamins C and E help to provide antioxidant protection for the delicate eye area. Apply dry or wet for a more intense finish.

This eyeshadow is great to use as a base, on your browbone, on the lid or can even be used by itself on a “lazy day”. I’m impressed with the formulation of this eyeshadow, it’s creamy and non-chalky. No fall-outs and it blends well too. I’ve used this a couple of times and so far so good!

I am very picky with lip products as I do have a sensitive lips. I was unsure whether or not to try this lipstick myself but I’m glad I did!

I received a sample size of the SILK CREAM LIPSTICK in the shade Taffy (A medium pink with purple undertones) which is gorgeous for an everyday wear. This feels like a lip balm as it glides smoothly when applied on the lips. If you’re aiming for a fuller and bolder lip effect, then you can do that too. It’s buildable, lightweight and non-drying which is a huge plus!

Vivid, saturated color that does double duty as a protective moisturizing treatment with antioxidant vitamins, rosehip, soybean and safflower oils. Aloe and chamomile extracts further condition lips. Feather-resistant and intensely pigmented in true-wear shades.

Side Note: Look how cute these samples sizes are? I feel like there should be products out there in these sizes available everywhere. MAKE Beauty actually gave a generous amount on the eyeshadow which I’m so happy about. While the lipstick is simply adorable.
