Instead of talking about product reviews, hauls or monthly subscriptions, I thought I’d take a break and share something different this time. How about let’s chat a little bit about life, exchange fun conversation and chill.

What have I been up to lately?

Back in September, my hubby and I officially became a first time home owner. 🙂 It’s definitely a huge lifetime commitment (scary and nerve wracking) but we finally agreed on getting a place where we can call it “our own”.  Since then, I became pre-occupied and took a lot of my “blogging” time and have been busy trying to make our house the way we wanted it to be. It’s still a bit empty but definitely a work in progress. I kinda realized that furniture shopping is as stressful as finding the right foundation shade, lipstick color and more.. LOL

November came and I finally got the chance to visit my family back home in the Philippines by surprise. Yes! it was indeed a SURPRISE and I will share more about my trip soon. ❤

I have been enjoying Instagram more and more each day as I get to catch up on What’s New and What’s Hot and discover new beauty and fashion enthusiasts too which is great! Don’t forget to say Hi and I will do the same. ❤

Mylipaddiction Podcast is another channel that I always look forward to every Thursday. Cat Forsley of MyLipaddiction.com launched her Beauty Podcast back in July and I have been loving every minute of it. You guys should check it out to know more about our fellow bloggers, beauty tips and a whole lot more. You can also contact Cat if you wish to participate and be one of her guests too.

Lastly, watching YouTube videos still a habit. Though I don’t watch a gazillion makeup gurus anymore unlike before, I do still follow almost the same youtubers until now. To name a few I am still a fan of Tati, Ingrid Nilsen, Tanya Burr and Fleur DeForce. However, I watch Tati more consistently than the rest.

  1. Congrats on your new home! 😀 I can imagine how much time it takes to set up house.
    I don’t watch as many YT vids as much as I used to either. I always make time for Tati though – she’s awesome!
    And yay… can’t wait to chat with you next week for the podcast! 😉

      Thank you and yes I am dying to clean this place up..I have put up a Christmas Tree though.. haha.. And yes, I watched Tati’s vids all the time I really don’t mind seeing her in person (when opportunity allows..haha) and yes, the Podcast! I am excited and nervous at the same time, I hope it’s not going to be a boring one. hehe.. and Im glad that you enjoyed this post! 🙂

      Thank you, and yes! it’s fun but I didnt know how indecisive I am til now.. We finally got a sofa set and now I don’t want them anymore. I saw a few end tables but glad I didnt purchase them coz Im confused if I’ll like them or not..haha
      we finally found a dining but it’s out of stock..uugghhh.. the struggless… hahahah

      1. I think I took something like 6 months to research everything and do the main purchasing! Hope you can take your time – better to be sure and get what you want 🙂 Also I found floorplanner.com to be so helpful! And Pinterest, of course!

          yes, Pinterest is also amazing.. we got wall to wall carpet too but took them off and just left the bedrooms with it. I cannot stand carpet everywhere coz of my asthma and with the little furry ball not a good match haha. Changed the wall colors too to match our preference and it’s really time consuming. I will check our floorplanner.com and hope this will make this journey a bit easier? haha

              I agreeee… we were thinking of getting rid of the carpet completely but since winter is coming we thought this will keep our feet(s) haha warm?? but now that we have stuff in the rooms then it’s a pain to take them off. But all I can do is keep them tidy at all times. and choosing wall color is crazy as they all look the same but when applied on the wall they look different. It was def a challenge but we settled with something timeless.. nothing crazy.. hehe

      Wow, thanks for the encouragement on the furnishing struggle. 🙂 I really thought it’s just me being me who wants to fill the place asap.. especially that holiday is just around the corner… now I feel better and will def. take my time in filling this place up!
