Lips Talk! (Ulta Lipstick Haul)

How about another lipstick haul for everyone. These lippies were purchased a few months back and have been tried and tested to the highest extent possible.

I wasn’t really planning on trying any lipsticks from Ulta but since I noticed that they were on sale then I had to get a few. I’ve never tried any lip products from the Ulta line so it’s just best to snag them down.

These lipsticks cost $8.50 a piece but was on sale for $1.97 each (how can you resist that?).

The packaging is pretty nice. I love that you can see the product on the top portion of the lipstick cover.

I also like the dark gray -almost black- with shiny finish on the entire lipstick packaging. It feels a little bit heavy which is cool, it snaps when you close cap and felt luxurious too.

Pros:

  • Very smooth
  • Super creamy
  • Lightweight
  • Moisturizing
  • Long wearing
  • Feels like a lip balm
  • Some are sheer while some are matte (depends on your preference)
  • True to color
  • It does have a very subtle scent but barely noticeable
  • Cruelty Free

Cons:

  • Wish there’s more matte lipstick option (since I’m a matte lipstick lover)
  • Doesn’t have a lipstick “name” or label, only numbers (which I don’t mind, but I’m sure to some they matter)

Ulta’s Lipstick gives full, rich color in a long-lasting formula. Shea butter and hyaluronic filling spheres penetrate lips and provide moisturization and fills in lip lines and wrinkles for a soft and smooth pout. Gluten-free.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. Aside from how affordable these lipsticks are, they feel really nice on the lips too.

  3. Well at $1.97 you really can’t refused these, can you?!
    I really like the gunmetal tubes – very sleek! And you snagged some lovely shades. My favourite are: 204 and 233 (I like sheerer lippies!)

      I thought of you when I tried them on! I remember you mentioned how you like sheer lippies..😁👍🏻 and yup! $1.97?? Why not?? It’s really nice formulation too.

  4. I only have two lip products from Ulta that I got as a free gift after purchasing a palette. It’s the weightless Lipstick and a mini matte lip cream that I wasn’t super crazy about. These are gorgeous shades but I do prefer Matte.
