Play by Sephora (May)

It’s about time to share my long overdue Play by Sephora box for the month of May!

As you all know, May wasn’t the best time for me to “play” but, I was able to explore just before my June box arrived.

Now, enough talking and let’s begin!

trèStiQue Highlight & Perfect Multipurpose Stickplay_CurrentMoBox_trestique_info_image_abcde_2

trèStiQue brand is not new to me, in fact most products that I received from them landed on my top shelf. Now, this highlight + perfect multipurpose stick is beautiful and it blends really nicely on my skin. I love the  natural glow that it brings and I’ve used this mostly as an eyeshadow highlight as well.

belif Hungarian Water Essenceplay_CurrentMoBox_belif_image_bc_2

Another brand that I’ve tried a few times and fortunately, my skin enjoyed them. This belif Hungarian Water Essence came handy when my face was so dry and dehydrated. I used this after I clean my face and just before I apply any products on. This feels really soothing and my skin felt tight after every application. And the best part of all is that, my skin felt hydrated and it didn’t irritate as well. I am really happy with this product!

NUDESTIX Magnetic Matte Lip Color

Ok, now this is my first from this brand. I’ve seen this brand a lot but never thought of purchasing one. This NUDESTIX Magnetic Matte Lip Color is amazing! I love how smooth and creamy the formula is and I received the color Greystone that is a beautiful dark brown almost deep burgundy which is such a versatile lip shade. This three-in-one matte lip stain, lip color and lip liner lasted really long on my lips which is a huge plus. And oh! interestingly enough, this product is distributed by NUDESTIX INC., Toronto, Canada and Made in Germany. ❤

Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask

I’ve tried several hair masks, may it be drugstore or high-end, but this Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask was a blaahh.. I’m sorry, but this hair mask didn’t do anything special on my hair. The smell reminded me of the Kate Somerville facial mask which is very relaxing (smells like spa) but this made my hair super oily after a gazillion lather. It didn’t keep my hair smooth nor lightweight. I couldn’t wait to go home and wash my hair as soon as I can because I felt like I poured oil all over my hair. Luckily, the smell wasn’t that bad so I’m able to held it until the end of the day. Awesome ingredients though!

Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil

Finally! I’ve been wanting to try this Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil as I’ve heard so many good things about this brand. First, it has this very mild scent that is barely noticeable. I had to dip my nose very closely to smell it and I still couldn’t describe the scent at all. I thought it would be super oily when applied on the skin but it’s really lightweight which made it super easy to massage. And lastly, it cleanses my skin well and it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin too.

Bonus Fragrance

TOCCA Stella

play_CurrentMoBox_tocca_image_bc_6

I always look forward to the bonus fragrance in my Play by Sephora box and this time, I AM LOVING IT! I was very skeptical when I saw this brand “Tocca” as I’ve never tried or smelled them before. My initial thought was, “ugghh another waste”.. BUT, I was completely wrong! I super duper lover the scent of this perfume. Very elegant without an overpowering smell. It’s long lasting, smells fresh and it doesn’t have this overwhelming floral scent.

Key Notes:
Blood Orange, White Freesia, Sandalwood

About:
A warm breeze flows through Milan as Stella, Prosecco in hand, enchants and beguiles with an uncompromising magnetism. Stella is infused with the slightly sweet, never bitter, and always fresh scent of blood orange.

Definitely adding this fragrance on my list!

To sum it all up, another impressive Play by Sephora box and for $10.00 a month, it’s all worth it! Very happy with my May goodies. 🙂

  1. Better late than never, right? 😉
The belif Hungarian Water Essence sounds really good – I’ve been eyeing their products. They sell them at The Face Shop stores here.
I don’t own anything from Nudestix either – did you know they’re Canadian?
You got great items in this box!

Ofcourse! You know me so well Stashy.. hahaha And, yes the belif products are really good. I love the Aqua bomb too, you have to try it I’m sure you’ll like it. I love the aqua bomb more than the water essence but they both do a great job. And no, I didn’t know that Nudestix is Canadian until I was checking the label. 😆 But yes, Sephora box is really really good! 👍🏻👍🏻

  2. This is a great box of items! The belief water essence has to be my favourite item you’ve received. I also think the tresitique stick is great. I love the nudestix colour! I have some in my collection and I always use them for my lips and cheeks.
