Nordstrom Rack finds… (mini-haul)

I’m back with a mini-haul courtesy of Nordstrom Rack. In case you don’t know, I’ve been obsessed with Nordstrom Rack’s beauty section ever since I found my way there. I have been finding great items at a very affordable price too. If you want to see what other beauty products I purchased at Nordstrom Rack, you may check my post HERE.

This time, it’s nothing major since I’ve been trying to stay away from this place to limit my spending on beauty products but I couldn’t help myself but check this place out once in awhile.

NYX Cosmetics (mini-haul)

I couldn’t help myself but lay my hands on products that are new to my naked eyes. And in this post, I will be sharing of-course! another quick haul for everyone.

Let’s jump right into the items that I’ve purchased a couple of months ago and have been put to the test.

First stop are lip products. What else could it be? ūüėõ

Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics (mini-haul)

Over a year ago I received¬†Jesse‚Äôs Girl ‚ÄúPure Pigment Eye Dust‚Ä̬†in my¬†IPSY-GLAM BAG (May¬†Edition)¬†and so far the eye pigment is surprisingly good, it’s very pigmented and super smooth.

Since then, I’ve been very curious about their product and lucky enough some of our drugstores carry this brand so I was able to purchase a few.

Back in June, I’ve posted¬†on my Instagram account one of the Jesse’s Girl Matte Finish Lip Color, I did enjoy the lip color so I purchased some more.

Now let’s take a closer look. Continue reading “Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics (mini-haul)”

Wet N’ Wild (mini-haul)

Here is a quick mini-haul post for you guys!

Lately, I have been collecting more beauty products to add to my collection. And one of those products happened to be from my all time favorite drugstore brands Wet N’ Wild Beauty.

I had to scout all Walgreens Pharmacy here in Albany, New York just to be able to lay my hands on the Wet N Wild Brushes. However, I didn’t have any luck in finding one but instead, I found one at Walmart and I found the rest at Rite Aid Pharmacy (weird) as I thought these brushes are exclusively sold at Walgreens.

Anyway, let’s get started!

I have been eyeing on these brushes since they were launched but I didn’t feel like purchasing them online. Aside from it’s always sold-out, the shipping is actually more expensive than the brushes itself. But because I believe in the saying that “Patience is a Virtue” then yes! I finally laid my hands on some of them. ūüôā I got five brushes which to me are the most essential brushes for my day-to-day makeup application.

These brushes are super soft and very affordable too. I paid $2.99 each for the Powder and Foundation brushes while $0.99 each for the Large Eyeshadow brush, Small Eyeshadow brush and Small Concealer brush.

Below is a closer look of how beautiful these brushes are.

Moving on, since I have a super sensitive skin I was really hesitant¬†in trying out any setting spray that is available in the market. However, because of all the buzz¬†and it’s ingredients, I had to try this product myself.

This¬†Photo Focus Setting Spray¬†is amazing! They did not irritate my skin at all. It’s very refreshing when you spray them on your face right after you apply your makeup. It gives you this smooth, non-cakey result and it does keep your face shine free throughout the day.

Description: Lights, camera, action! This exclusive formula extends makeup wear by preventing cracking, smudging, fading, or creasing. Works with any makeup and all skin types, plus it has aloe to hydrate your skin. One step, perfect! РSee more at:

I love the scent of this Photo Focus Setting Spray. It’s very subtle, fresh and clean. I am also impressed with the “sprayer” on this bottle¬†as it does spray evenly like a mist and not a “squirt” (if you know what I mean). I paid $4.99 for this at CVS Pharmacy.

Ingredients: Water/Eau, Alcohol Denat., PVP, Propanediol, PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Dimethicone PEG/PPG-12/4 Phosphate, Glycereth-5 Lactate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Chlorphenesin, Ethylhexyl Isononanoate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Poloxamer 127, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Fragrance/Parfum. – See more at:

Lastly, I couldn’t resist myself but I had to grab two of the¬†Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre Blusher¬†which you can only find at Target.¬†

Look how pretty these blushes are! As always, they are very pigmented, lightweight and buildable, the packaging is elegant for the price of $4.99 and the color payoff is just beautiful. You can also use this as an eyeshadow if you like (Isn’t it cool?).

I purchased the shades The Princess Daiquiries and In A Purple Haze.

In A Purple Haze is probably my favorite as it’s more on the “peachy” or “corally” shade that is just right up my alley. However, The Princess Daiquiries is also gorgeous and wearable but I haven’t really used this a lot as I kept on reaching for the shade¬†In A Purple Haze¬†the most.

And there you have it!

Have you guys tried any of these beauties?
