Recently, I have been “hoarding” more liquid lipsticks to add to my collection. I’m sure we all can relate when it comes to lip products as they are just too tempting. Unfortunately one, two or three lipsticks aren’t enough.

Whenever I see new products being displayed in our local drugstores (new to my eyes anyway), I usually purchase one item at first just to try as I do not like to return products nor want my money go to waste. If however, I’m impressed with the product then yes! it’s time to grab for more.

Now let me show you what I’m talking about!

I have four liquid lipsticks and one lip gloss to show you. I know it’s not a lot but more posts to follow. 🙂

How about a closer look…

Been seeing this New REVLON ULTRA HD MATTE LIPCOLOR in every drugstores that I’ve been to and so far, I haven’t seen much feature about this Ultra HD Matte LipColor which made me bought one.

The packaging is cute! I love the slim design which is super convenient to carry around. It also comes with a felt tip applicator that helps the product glides on smoothly and applies easily on your lips. The smell is AmAzInG! It smells sweet and yummy for sure (it’s hard to describe it but the closest I can think of is Butterscotch).

How about the lipcolor itself? I purchased the shade HD Addiction and this is more on a plum shade. It glides smoothly when applied on the lips, doesn’t feel sticky too (when applying). BUT! I don’t think this is made properly (as what they claimed MATTE finish) for it doesn’t stay matte on your lips. It feels warm and doesn’t feel lightweight, it feels uncomfortable after awhile. It also transfers which is not good, it does however looks matte (just the look). I tried wearing this without applying lip balm and oh my it wasn’t good. I also tried with a lip balm and it didn’t help as well, this made the product bleed. This Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor didn’t last long on my lips.

 NYX LIP LINGERIE LIQUID LIPSTICK 

This NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick however has been in the market for awhile now and I have been seeing a lot of photos and mixed reviews all over the net which made me want to lay my hands on them to check if the hype is real! 🙂

Let’s talk about the packaging! I LOVE the design on this Lip Lingerie a lot. It looks and feels elegant (reminds me of Kylie Lipstick). It seemed like the tube is made with glass with a little bit of weight (not sure if it is but it seemed like it) and this makes it easier for us to see the shades easily .

How about the product itself? I purchased the shade BEDTIME FLIRT which is on the nude side. The pigmentation is good, very lightweight and it does stay matte when applied on the lips. The felt tip applicator is thin which I am not a fan of, it makes the application a little bit annoying as you have to repeat applying until you fill in your lips with the product. It does have a very mild scent but you really have to sniff harder to smell it. This NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick however is so much better than the Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor. It doesn’t bleed, it last long, doesn’t transfer and stays matte the entire time, it feels comfortable too especially when applied with lip balm. I’ve read some negative comments about this liquid lipstick while a lot of good reviews as well. It does feel sticky when you put your lips together but if you don’t, then you won’t even notice you’re wearing one. It’s hard to pick the right shade though as they all kinda looks similar with each other. My only advice when applying this NYX Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick is to make sure you exfoliate your lips properly because if you don’t, you will for sure experience some cracked lips, peeling and unpleasant result.

NYX LIQUID SUEDE CREAM LIPSTICK

This next liquid lipstick that I will be sharing with you is not new to me. But I still want to show you what I added to my liquid suede collection.

I’m sure if you’ve been following my page then you might have seen this specific shade of NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick already. I actually purchased this shade called PINK LUST (a super bright pink/fuschia shade) back in March just a week before I received my IPSY Glam bag . I never realized that I actually purchased the same shade until I put them all together (now I have two of the same shade). The best part is, I love this color so much and I actually worn this on my last April Favorites! video. 🙂

On the other hand, I also purchased a new shade (finally not a duplicate shade this time) and it’s called TEA & COOKIES (Muted Tea Rose Pink). How about the packaging? ahh.. nothing special as you can see.

Though the cap (if that’s what you call) does have a cool diamond looking design on it.

How about the product itself? I guess it’s pretty obvious that I love this NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick a lot! I like the felt tip applicator on this (not too big, not too small either) it’s flat which makes it easier for me to apply the lipstick. It glides really smoothly, very pigmented and super lightweight. Stays matte, waterproof and does feel velvety as well. It lasts really long on your lips in a very comfortable way. The smell however, reminds me of a paint primer (but nothing scary) as it’s very gentle and doesn’t linger too (just don’t sniff harder and you won’t even notice it at all). I have no negative comments about this product and will be purchasing more shades for sure! 🙂

Rimmel London Stay Glossy Oh My Gloss! Lip Gloss

I am not a huge fan of Lip Glosses but because I love Rimmel London so much, then I had to try one of their newest items which happened to be a lip gloss.

How about the packaging? I find the shape of this tube really unique.

It’s applicator is small but flat at the same time that makes it easier for you to apply the gloss. It does have a floral scent which I don’t like as I find it a bit strong. However, the lip gloss itself is very lightweight, super easy to apply and non-sticky too which is good. This gloss contains Argan Oil and Vitamin E that gives high shine result on your lips. It claims to last up to 6 hours (not sure about 6 hours though). If you are looking for a good lip gloss, you might want to try this! But just be aware that this gloss does have a scent that some might like while others might not.

I love experimenting on different lip colors and that is why I tend to purchase shades that maybe too bright or even too dark!  They are just so much fun to play with.
