Oh how time flies!
Never did I imagine that I will continue blogging up to this date. 2016 has been a memorable one indeed. I’ve met such lovely people all over the world, it may not be in person but hey! chatting and interacting with you is more than enough.
I’ve had quite an amazing moments last year. Some of the highlights were, our new place, visited home and spent time with my family back in November AND I’ve guested on the December episode (19) of Cat Forsley aka MyLipAddiction.com Beauty Podcast!
Aside from that, I also discovered a good number of beauty products that I fell in love with.
I only have one criteria in choosing these products, and that is… they have been used for at least ten (10) times in the last 12 months.
It’s a lot, so let’s begin!
YOUTHMUD Tinglexfoliate Treatment – My holy grail! this helped cleared my skin and helped prevent from having breakouts. Review shared HERE.
SIMPLE EXFOLIATING FACIAL WIPES – I cannot see myself not having this exfoliating wipes in stock. When my skin needs attention, this is my go-to product to date.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin – I’m not sure why I haven’t mentioned this product that much when this is such a wonderful miracle leave-in plus keratin hair treatment. I use this almost everyday after I wash my hair and this leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth and strong. This helps my hair free from split ends too.
PUREOLOGY Travel Size Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier – I love this brand a lot. Their shampoo and conditioner were amazing (but pricey though) and this hair treatment spray protects my color treated hair, enhances my hair color and it also adds shine and vibrancy to my hair. I use just a tiny bit and I’m all set! This was featured on my Monthly Favorites back in April.
Keratherapy -Daily Smoothing Cream – Another product from Ipsy Glam bag back in June ‘2015 that I enjoyed so much! This helps my hair stay manageable and also lessen the blow drying time.
Palmer’s Shea Formula Body Lotion – My body care routine won’t be complete without this body lotion. I am not meticulous when it comes to body care as long as I feel clean and fresh. But this lotion is everything to me! It’s very hydrating and smells really good too. Product mention in my May Favorites.
Now on to the beauty products!
Foundation + Concealer
Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-IN-1 Foundation + Concealer – Worth the hype! Product mentioned HERE.
Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation – My all time favorite foundation and will forever be my go-to foundation. This has been mentioned a ton on every favorites that I’ve posted and you will forever be seeing this for sure! Product mentioned HERE.
Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Loose Powder in Quiet & Still – Full review HERE.
Stila Sheer Pressed Powder – Spotted this pressed powder at Marshalls and I almost forgot that I have them. This pressed powder kept me shine free during the hot summer months.
Hourglass – Ambient Lighting Blush Palette – I’ve used this a million times and still looking good as new. Another holy grail definitely! Product mentioned HERE.
MAC Cosmetics (MOCHA matte)– As you can see, this blush has been well loved.
essence Silky Touch Blush (Autumn Peach) – Product mentioned HERE.
City Color Cosmetics (Warm Apricot) – Definitely a brand that has been overlooked a ton. This brand does have a a lot of great products and I really love the formulation of their blushes. They’re super affordable and great quality too.
I love blushes (obviously) and it’s difficult to narrow them down to one or two or even three. 🙂
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Eye Shadow Collection – The last time I checked, this palette was back in stock! So if you haven’t laid your hands on this palette, maybe it’s time to join the club and fall in love with this palette. Product mentioned HERE.
MAC Cosmetics (Ricepaper) – My go-to single eyeshadow in 2016. Product mentioned HERE.
Jesse’s Girl eyeshadow compact (Brown Eyed Girl) – I AM OBSESSED with this eyeshadow palette. It’s very convenient to carry around, super easy to apply, no fall-outs and very easy to blend. Full review HERE.
ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip (Viper) – Product reviewed HERE.
Maybelline Lip Studio Color JOLT Intense Lip Paint (Never Bare) – Product review HERE.
Carmex Lip Balm – My saviour! Product reviewed HERE.
Wet n Wild Contour Brush – I use this brush to apply my blushes. This brush is super soft and super easy to clean.
Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher Tapered Highlighter Brush 522 – I use this to apply my highlights. A very soft brush that is also great to apply your blushes or even to contour.
That’s a lot right? I tried to narrow them down as much as I can. There are more items not mentioned in this post that I’ve enjoyed so much.
It has been a fruitful 2 years in this blogging world and I hope to continue sharing what I love and I hope you do the same.
Happy 2 years to us!
