It wasn’t my intention to share a birthday post however, since there was a confusion on how old or young I am or I was? I thought I’d share this instead.

For whatever reason, I really thought I will be turning 37 this year. In all of 2016, I was telling people that I was 36 turning 37 and even on the medical information that I recently completed prior to my birthday, I indicated 36.

Out of the blue during our lunch break at work, we were talking about age and birthdays until I finally realized I am or was only 35 turning 36. My co-workers even used a calculator to show me my true age. HEY!!! guess who just turned one year younger?? ME!!! LOL😂

In case you’re wondering, when exactly was my birthday? well, it was last January 12, 2017. I wasn’t too excited during that moment because it was a Thursday with a mixture of rain and snow. To me, it was just a typical day nothing more-nothing less..

the SURPRISE!

While I was busy dealing with the real life drama at work, my phone beeped. A facebook notification and a text message was received.

I never expected this at all! My face lit up with excitement and joy. All the craziness at that very moment eased up. Just look at that cutie little nugget who striked a pose with a party hat on??? oh.. just precious.

My day at work continued until it’s time to head home and relax. I was looking forward to give my baby and hubby a HUGE Thank You hug for they brightened my day and of course to blow the candles and indulge on that yummy looking cake as well.

but the fun didn’t end there…

Just like Christmas, I didn’t ask for any birthday presents this year but he still managed to surprise me.

He didn’t just get me one, but two amazing gifts that I never would have imagined getting on my natal day.

Aside from makeup and sunglasses, he knows that I love to collect watches too. Now I have another watch to add to my collection.

Aside from the watch, he also got me a new cellphone. I didn’t ask nor mention anything about getting a new phone whatsoever. I was very contented with my Iphone 5C but he thought I needed an upgrade so he got me an Iphone 7. Anyway, I couldn’t believe when I got both presents and was speechless the entire time.

I seriously was teary-eyed seeing my gifts and felt so blessed and grateful for everything. A simple greeting could have been enough but this is way too much! BUT.. since it’s given to me, I’ll embrace them with arms wide open. ❤

I almost forgot to claim my Sephora Birthday Gift! how dare me to forget that??😆 but yes, I managed to claim it and thanks to the non-stop email reminder from Sephora.

Since Sephora and Ulta are in the same mall and on the same floor level, then why not kill two birds in one stone right? I ended up collecting my birthday presents all at the same time. And since I am experimenting on not buying any makeup products this month, then this is just the perfect time to treat myself for free. 🙂

I just walked in the store and browsed a little bit and asked the cashier while heading out regarding the email I received, and sure enough she just grabbed the benefit “the PORE fessional” PRO balm and handed it to me. Well, she asked for my Ulta membership card and the email but that’s it! I got the Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Face Primer Deluxe Mini ($12 value) for free.

All in all, I’m super happy with the freebies that I received from Sephora and Ulta!
