Play! by Sephora (November)

Before the year ends, let me share what I received in my November Play! by Sephora box. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I will be sharing my goodies a month after I received my box to be able to provide a better review on the items.

I was able to try some of the products that I got, while some are still on my list to try.

The November bag is called Best In Glow!

First item:

GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment – I was really happy when I saw this in my bag because I’ve been wanting to try this mask for a long time. If you’ve followed me for a while, I’m sure you are aware that I love the GLAMGLOW YOUTHMUD Tinglexfoliate Treatment (review HERE) so I was hoping that this mask is as great as the Tinglexfoliate Treatment.

I’ve used this mask several times and so far so good. The consistency is a little bit lighter or “liquidy” than the Tinglexfoliate Treatment. This Clearing Treatment is not messy, easy to rinse or remove, feels cooling when applied on the skin and the best part is, it didn’t break me out.

Second item:

COVER FX Illuminating Primer – This primer is great but it’s not something that I’ll go crazy about.

It does have a little bit of shimmer which I am not a fan of in a primer. It claims to provide a luminous glow and helps create a natural looking skin. I honestly don’t see anything special in this primer but, this is nice if used just by itself for a natural glowing skin.

Third item:

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour – I’ve heard so many great things about this Caviar stick eye colour and been wanting to purchase one. However, I am not willing to pay $29.00 without trying them on prior to purchasing it.

This Caviar stick eye colour is AmAzIng! I’ve used this over and over again since day one. This eyeshadow is very easy use, super smooth, creamy, really easy to blend, does not crease and it last a long time. This is in the shade Rose Gold – “rosy gold shimmer” that’s just right up my alley. I don’t mind purchasing the full size of this caviar stick eye colour and maybe check out different shades.

Fourth item:

SEPHORA COLLECTION Ultra Shine Lip Gel – I am not a lip gloss gal, but once in awhile I like to reach for them too.

Pin Up Pink

This Sephora Gel Gloss/Lip Gel smells so good. When I first tried this lip gel, it took me back to my younger years because of it’s scent. This reminds me of a kiddie lip glosses that smells fruity and yummy at the same time but it taste like “blaahh”. This lip gel is very pigmented, non-sticky or tacky and this is very hydrating on the lips. The applicator is great as it hugs your lips perfectly for easy application. And the best part of all is that, this product is not tested on animals.

Fifth item:

The Estée Edit Dissolve the Drama 2-in-1 Makeup Remover + Cleanser – I am very skeptical when I receive face products because of my sensitive skin. I’ve tried this makeup remover + cleanser once and so far it’s good. I will continue to use this and share my full review when I can.

Bonus Fragrance:

Stella McCartney POP – Another scent that I am very intrigued about which I’m glad that I received a sample size on this Stella McCartney Pop perfume. This smells really nice and sophisticated. I apologize but I find it difficult to describe the scent for whatever reason but I’ll include the ingredients below. The only downside is that the scent doesn’t linger and it doesn’t last all day. I suggest that you check this out when you can, it smells really lovely!

Tomato Leaves, Violet Leaves, And Green Mandarin, Violet, Tuberose, Plumeria, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musks.

For $10.00 a month, I cannot complain. I haven’t been disappointed with my Sephora box (yet) and I cannot wait to share my December box soon.

And that’s all for now.. An honest review to end 2016.

Happy New Year everyone!
