Ulta vs Sephora (Birthday gifts)

Untitled_Fotor

Before my birthday month ends, I had to redeem my free gifts from Ulta Beauty and Sephora. So today, I want to share with you what I got from both beauty stores.

I received an email reminder from Ulta to redeem my free gift. In order for you to redeem your gift, you have to provide the coupon that was emailed to you. I almost lost this email so I asked if I could present my Ulta membership card or any membership information but they won’t honor it because they need to scan the coupon that was provided. Luckily, I found the email that was sent to me.

Note: Ulta Beauty Gift can only be redeemed in stores.

Apparently, you only have one gift option which is the Ulta Beauty Cranberry and Pomegranate Lip Oil & Mask.

This Lip Mask looks very interesting, I’m so tempted to try it out. I cannot wait to see how this Cranberry & Pomegranate Lip Mask works. I tried searching this product on the Ulta Beauty site but I can’t seem to find it. This must be exclusive for Birthday gifts only?

The Ulta Beauty Juice Infused Lip Oil on the other hand is amazing! It feels very comfortable on the lips and super hydrating too. Just the perfect time to have this lip oil since I’ve been having this annoying dry lips lately.

Ulta’s Juice Infused Lip Oil is a luxurious lip oil infused with a combination of natural ingredients that nourish and smooth your lips. Each of the shades offer separate ingredient benefits providing a combination of lip mending properties.

The Juice Infused Lip Oils do not have any color once applied; they apply clear.

Benefits:

  • Vitamin E & Alaria Esculenta Extract: an antioxidant conditioning agent that soothes and leaves lips with a smooth appearance.
  • Sheer coverage with a glossy finish
  • Paraben free, gluten free

Now, Sephora has three Birthday Gift options, from GlamGlow, Bite Beauty to BumbleAnd Bumble. Isn’t that cool? Unlike Ulta, Sephora gift is super easy to redeem. You can do it online or in stores. No coupon needed, all you have to do is present your Sephora Beauty Insider Card or provide your membership information and that’s it!

Because I am obsessed with lip products, of course I had to choose Bite Beauty. This lip kit comes with a Mini Lipstick, a matte Lip Crayon and a Lip Scrub & Balm Duo pack.

Bite Beauty is not a stranger to me and I’m sure to you as well, I really enjoy the formula and its lasting power. I love how creamy and hydrating these lip products are. I haven’t tried this lip scrub & balm as of yet but I cannot wait to see if they work just as good as the lipsticks. I got the lipstick in Chai – Mauve Brown while the lip crayon in Glacé – dusty mauve, very wearable shades and is great to use at anytime of the day.

And that’s it you guys, what do you think about these goodies?

I’m glad we have something to look forward to on our Birthdays. 🙂

  1. Sephora looks like a better deal this year then ulta. Last year I was able to get the travel size tarte blush in shade party and a small sample lip gloss from Sephora on my birthday and for ulta I think (not sure) it was the mini size it superhero mascara.
Thanks for letting us know and for sharing this information!

    Peaceout with love!✌💖
