Inglot Makeup Haul + JLO collection

Hello.. Hello.. I took a couple of weeks off just to relax and get settled with my new job. So far everything is going pretty well and also, hubby and I went down to New York City for a week to spend some time with the in-laws and spent our 10th year wedding anniversary as well. It was short but definitely fun and of course a memorable one.

Now, every time I’m in Manhattan I always visit the Inglot store at Times Square because they’re customer service is just nice and I just like it there. We don’t have any Inglot retailers here in Albany, NY and as much as possible, I like to see their products up-close rather than buying them online. Ulta vs Sephora (Birthday gifts)

Before my birthday month ends, I had to redeem my free gifts from Ulta Beauty and Sephora. So today, I want to share with you what I got from both beauty stores.

I received an email reminder from Ulta to redeem my free gift. In order for you to redeem your gift, you have to provide the coupon that was emailed to you. I almost lost this email so I asked if I could present my Ulta membership card or any membership information but they won’t honor it because they need to scan the coupon that was provided. I got tempted..(a Beauty Haul)

I tried so hard to be on a “No Buy” mode for the past two months and I was really proud that I’m able to stop myself from purchasing any makeup related stuff.

I admit, there were moments that I was about to give up and just say “what the heck” but no, I kept my promise and I did it. I originally planned of just doing a “Low-Buy” but instead, I went on a “No Buy” for the month of January and February.

When March 1st came, I couldn’t help but check out the usual makeup section at Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack and more.. and there!!! I did some damage.

Black Friday Haul

It’s catching up time again and let me show you what I got during the Black Friday madness! Just so you know, I didn’t really join the stampede on Black Friday as I was out and about on Thanksgiving night. I noticed that there were more great stuff the day/night before Black Friday than the actual Black Friday itself.

Also, I didn’t purchase a lot as I had my eyes on a few specific ones that I wanted to have. Most items I purchased are those that I know I will use a ton.

New York City “mini-haul”…

Just a few of weeks ago, I went to visit New York City just for a day to spend some “Me time”. I was actually planning on heading to the Inglot store but it was a bit too far from where I was ,so I guess that’s going to be my next assignment. 🙂

Anyway, I couldn’t resist but to check out Duane Reade (the most recognized drugstore chain in metropolitan New York). Duane Reade became a part of Walgreens family and they carry a lot of great drugstore beauty products that Walgreens Pharmacy itself do not sell.

They have a beauty section (LOOK boutique) that sells a lot of amazing drugstore brands that we do not have here in Albany, NY. Few of the brands they carry are the ones that I’ve laid my hands to.
