Mini “April” Haul!

As you all know, I made a promise that I won’t be buying any makeup for the month of April. However, if you have been following my blog posts lately then you also know that I am trying to find the perfect product to get rid of my “Sparkles”. Facial Products.. (Failed and Passed)

Just recently, I’ve been using the Simple Facial Wipes and Simple Moisturizer on my face (of course! where else would I use it right?haha). Anyway, since I’ve started using these products, my sparkles are looking better. However, I still have one big annoying red monster looking pimple on my face that no matter how many concealer or foundation I use, it still shows up and greet everyone. But, these Simple products are really great that I can really say I’m already loving it.

I bought the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash just a week ago and I have been using it since day one.

Earlier today, I’ve decided to get two more products that I’m really hoping will forever keep my “sparkles” away. I immediately reached for the Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub. I’m excited to try this and hopefully, I will be happy with the result.

This next product has been hiding from me since forever, I’ve been looking for this for awhile now and finally I found them today! (thank God for Target..) I was really planning of buying one on-line but I didn’t feel like paying for the shipping is worth it. So I guess, “Patience is truly a Virtue” right? 🙂 I’ve heard so much positive words about this product so I wanted to give it a try. I’ve also seen “Ingrid Nilsen” one of my fave YouTube beauty guru talked about this so it made me want to try this even more.

Now, let’s move on to another item I purchased today and this time it’s not going to be a skin care item but instead a t-shirt that I’m sure a lot of us would agree! 😛 I wasn’t really thinking of buying any clothing item but this t-shirt was just too good to ignore. If only I can wear this every single day..haha

For those who are interested where I got this, I bought this from Walmart and it only cost $7.99 (isn’t that a bargain??)

Last item of the day is this really unique overall and kinda midi-square pants that is just so comfortable to wear. I was hesitant of getting this item but when I saw the price $13.99 it made me want to try them on. The moment I put them on “waahhhh” SOLD! My hubby liked it and I did too. I can’t wait to wear this and all I need to find is a cute shoes to match this “dressy looking overall midi-square pants” looking dress??hahaha I honestly don’t know how to describe this.. I hope the photo is clear enough for you to see what I’m trying to say.. 🙂

Mr. Sun was out today so was able to wear my RayBans, also I was in the mood to dress girly today so I put on this dress from Forever 21, my light weight cardigan is from Delia’s. My bag is from Forever 21 while my shoes.. oh wait!! my FAVORITE shoes is from Nine West. Honestly, I just love this shoes to death that I will for real cry if this will die…huhuhu 😦 they are just super comfy and it matches with everything too.

My Top 10 YouTube “Beauty Gurus” 😍📺

I have been wanting to do this post and finally It’s here.

I was not a YouTube fan until one day, I just started browsing YouTube out of curiosity and bumped into a makeup tutorial video. I was entertained at that very moment so I decided to keep watching. I didn’t even know what’s the “Subscribe” button is for until I hit it..(sad right?lol) and since then I’m hooked.

Well, we should get started… and as always, I will try to keep this post short and concise as I’m sure most of you know these people and if not, I will include the links for you to check them out.

So, this girl is the very first “YouTuber” that I followed ever! I found her videos very simple and full of heart. Her name is Ingrid Nilsen and used to be known as “MIssGlamorazzi” I love how she demonstrate all her tutorials and most of the time, she uses products that we all can afford. I also love her sense of humor and I feel like she is a very genuine person. I noticed lately that she kind of changed her theme but I still like it. We all know that there’s nothing permanent in this world anyway so maybe she is just trying to be more mature and move to a different path. But then again, there’s nothing wrong with it and she is still the same “MissGlamorazzi” that I liked. And by the way, she is also one of the most successful Beauty Guru nowadays. Amazing!

Next stop, TheMakeupChair I love her videos because it’s short and very informative. She doesn’t waste your time with introductions and she is very clear in giving instructions or tips in applying makeup or just about anything. I love how articulate she is and I always look forward to her videos. And one more thing, she don’t use high end products all the time so it’s very easy for everyone to learn.

Concealer Mistakes & How To Fix Them

If you are looking for someone that does product reviews starting from application until the end of the night, this YouTuber is my go to gal Tati or also known as the “Glam Life Guru”. I used to have a love and hate relationship with this guru until I have watched few of her videos all at once. She proved me wrong and since then, I always check her videos first before purchasing something because to me, her reviews seemed legit without any sugar coating at all.

Let’s move on to a little bit more fancy guru. Fleur DeForce is also on top of my list, her videos are great and if you are more into high-end products then she is your girl. I get excited when she posts videos about “Haul” and gosh you should check out her My Shoe Collection: High Heels! and My Handbag Collection – Part 1 and she also guested in Project Runway which is awesome!

For my teenager followers, I also have one YouTuber for you and that is Ava Allan. She is definitely someone that most young girls would look up to especially her fashion style. She is also a TV personality so I’m sure the younger generation recognizes her. She landed her first modeling job for Disney catalog when she was only six, and has continued to model for many national magazines and catalogs. She also landed numerous national commercials most notably Angry Birds, Hyundai, Hasbro and Nissan. Her television debut came at the age of ten on Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson VP”. (She reminds of of the innocent Kylie Jenner and Lindsay Lohan..haha) So, If you are interested go check her out! Her style is really really cute, young and fun.. 🙂

My 10 Facts:

I always sleep super late. The earliest that I go to sleep is at 12 midnight..And and.. I had to force myself to sleep that early.. 😴💤
I dislike Facebook… The reason being is that, I don’t believe that most people on our Friends List are true. It seemed like they have added you because they are just being nosy! 😜 (please don’t get mad at me guys! It’s just how I feel..sorry) ✌️
Pink.. I’ve never really liked the color Pink until my hubby started buying me things like pink cellphone case, pink blouses, pink travel bag and more. And you know what? I now LOVE Pink so much.. So yeah, my favorite color at the moment is Pink. 😘
Some of my favorite movies are.. 50 First Dates, Mean Girls, The Notebook, Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Lion King,.. Ahhh..how I wish there will be more great quality movies nowadays..and oh wait…who doesn’t love Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings?? haha 👏😃
I used to only dream of going to Aspen (USA) long time ago until one day my hubby surprised me and took me there. So yeah! My dream place is Aspen and i’m proud to say I’ve been to my dream place. 😍🙏👼❄️
A lot of people say “don’t talk to me! I am are not a morning person” actually, I don’t mind mornings.. I just HaTe waking up in the morning. But once I’m awake I’m good to go! 👍👍
I don’t drink coffee. YES! I don’t drink Coffee.. I’ve tried drinking coffee just a couple of weeks ago and it didn’t do good on me. I got sick and felt dizzy. So yeah! No coffee for me.. 😞
I would rather receive a greeting card, a cake or a chocolate bar than a bouquet of flowers. Why? it’s because they die.They don’t last long and they are expensive too. But please don’t get me wrong, I love seeing other people getting them but it’s just not my thing.. ✌️
I watch Youtube videos most especially those makeup tutorial videos to make me feel sleepy. Is it bad?? what can I do… they make me sleepy.. hahaha
I am a lipstick💄 and nail polish 💅 junkie.. But I don’t invest on expensive lipstick or nail polish though.. I have a very few high end lipsticks but I don’t find it practical to spend a lot for lipsticks.💄Why spend more if you can buy some affordable ones with the same quality right?👌

I don’t like to eat broccoli, beans and potato (except French Fries).
I always eat with vinegar and hot sauce.
I was born and raised in the Philippines and is now residing in Albany, NY.
I have at least 30 pairs of shoes (heels, flats and boots combined).
I only have 10 pairs of sunglasses and wanted to collect more.
I just started blogging over a month ago (and I’m enjoying it).
My husband is my only best friend here in Albany, NY.
I work for Human Resources and I have a love and hate relationship with my job. 🙂
I love Rimmel London products most especially their BB cream, foundation and nail polishes.
I always wanted to make Youtube videos ever-since but, I am not sure where and how to start..
“I think I am a shopaholic” but my co-workers and friends said that I AM.. It’s maybe because I can’t end the week without buying something and I just kept thinking of going shopping.

1. What is your favorite day of the week? – I love Monday! YES!! you heard it right.. it’s just that Monday tends to get so busy and without you knowing, it’s all done. I even posted a blog about this.. 🙂
2.What color do you see when you close your eyes? – Wow! this question is very different, but I saw a color RED when I closed my eyes.
3. When is your birth month? – My birth month is January. I love it because my zodiac sign is Capricorn.. But, I also hate it, just because I get older way before my friends who’s birthdays fall on April and even later.
4. Cake or cupcakes? – CAKE ALL THE WAY!!! I can eat a whole cake in one sitting.. 🙂 🙂
5. Chocolate or vanilla? – I LOVE CHOCOLATE so much! especially Chocolate Ice cream and Chocolate cake. Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of Vanilla..
6. What’s your favorite movie? – since you said Movie not Movie(S) then it would be.. 50 First Dates by Adams Sandler & Drew Barrymore (I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched this movie).. however…I can’t help but share my 2nd fave.. and that would be “The Notebook” by Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.. 🙂
7. Skydiving or ziplining? – I love zip-lining.. I’ve done it few times and I can’t wait to visit home and try the longest zip line in Asia which is located about 30 mins from my home. But, I also wanted to try Sky diving..unfortunately, my hubby doesn’t want me to try it. (what a bummer) lol.
8. What’s your favorite lip color? – I used to love Red but now, I’m loving the shade of Pinkish-Peach/Nude. If this even make sense. lol
9. What style do you wish you could wear most but still haven’t tried (any style, clothes, hair, makeup whatever) – I’ve always wanted to cut my hair short like Demi Moore’s hair in the movie Ghost.
10. Massage or facial? – both! but if I have to choose one, then it would be facial.
