Let me start over!

I know that I am on the “No-Makeup-Buy” for this month, but I guess this doesn’t count as cheating right?hehe.. I have been thinking of subscribing with IPSY for a while and I was a little bit skeptical at first. I have been reading comments and reviews about this subscription and some were unhappy because they haven’t received their Glam Bag even though they have been deducted for the subscription. However, I thought for $10.00/mo. and Free Shipping..why not give it a try?? So, I decided to sign up last month (March) and kept my fingers crossed hoping I will get my first IPSY Glam Bag for the month of April on time.

I got SO EXCITED WHEN A PINK EYE-CATCHING bag CAME IN THE MAIL and…

their theme for this Spring season is called Beautifully Bohemian.

Now, let me share what’s inside my first ever Glam Bag!

The moment  I opened my Bohemian styled makeup bag, I went straight to the beautiful HIKARI blush.

This HIKARI blush in the shade “Tango” is very very pigmented. The color fits nicely on my skin complexion. This blush is in full size and the packaging??.. it’s so elegant. One of the best products so far.

Next, is this beautiful bronzy, very pigmented mini-nude eye shadow from “The Balm“. I am a sucker of this shade ever and I am so glad to get one. This is probably my first product from The Balm and I guess I might add this brand to my collection soon. This shade can be worn at night or even during the day and one more thing, this product is very handy that you can just throw it in your beauty bag anytime.

Next, is this Jor’el Parker (eau de parfum .30 fl. oz) in travel size. OH yes! it smells really good. This scent actually reminds me of my childhood. (weeehhh..deep huh!) but truly, the smell is very subtle and it lasts for a while too. So far, I am impressed.

“Starlooks” lipgloss, hmmmpp.. cute! yes..cute.. (sample size) the scent is good. smells yummy but honestly, I wasn’t impressed on this gloss though. I feel like it’s sticky and quite drying on my lips..I have nothing else to say about this but… Sorry IPSY ! I’m not a fan of this gloss. 😦

Last but not the least, is the “Hey Honey” (Good Morning) honey silk facial serum. It says “all day nourishing for ALL SKIN TYPES”. I haven’t tried it yet, because I don’t want to mess up my facial skin care routine but I will definitely try this one day…hopefully anytime soon.. 🙂
