Colourpop Cosmetics Lipstick Haul

Lipstalk

I recently purchased some products from Colourpop Cosmetics to add to my growing collection and also to replace the ones that I gave away. So if you want to know what I’m talking about, let’s get started.

Just like the norm, the package came with the ColourPop personalized greeting and I received a sweet message from Mia and a drawing of her Labradoodle puppy. Such a cutie! πŸ™‚

It’s really difficult to find the lipstick for me because of the wide selection of lip products on their page. But I managed to find a few at a very affordable price too.

I found the “Can You Knot” Lip Bundle that consists of three lip products for the price of $12.00 (an $18.00 value). The bundle came with (Sookie) Ultra Glossy Lip, (Hutch) Ultra Satin Lip and (Notion) Ultra Matte Lip.

If you’ve read my past post on ColourPop (First Impression)I got the shade Notion (deepened raspberry) but my sister snagged it from me when I went home and she loved it a lot! And to add it back to my collection, I had to repurchase it and yes! it’s mine now. πŸ™‚

Sookie (full coverage rich plum) and Hutch (deep blackened violet) are also on the darker shade which I like to wear once in awhile. Swatches below are just one swipe.

I also added two Ultra Satin Lip products in Frick ‘N Frack and Dopey. Each satin lip cost $6.00 each but I only paid $4.80.

Frick ‘N Frack is best described as Rosy Terracotta while Dopey is also best described as Muted Pink. Both lippies are beautiful and really comfortable on the lips. Head over ColourPop’s site for a better view of the shades.

And lastly, I got another Ultra Matte Lip in More Better, a “deep wine” shade which was on sale for $4.80 (originally $6.00) and to replace the Lippie Stix that my little sister took from me, I repurchased LBB (Rich plum wine) and Grunge (mid-toned red brown) see full review HEREBoth Lippie Stix cost $5.00 each.

Here’s a quick snap on the Ultra Matte Lip in the shade More Better.

Now my Staycation Lippie Kit is complete again!

To sum it all, I am very pleased with ColourPop Cosmetics. Aside from the fact that they are super affordable, long wearing, very comfortable on the lips with a wide selection of products, from eyes, face and lips they are also cruelty free!

The total amount for this haul is $31.00 including shipping! Not bad at all. πŸ™‚

  1. Aww, that message is so cute… (jazzhands!) but um, they have kids writing their messages for them now? Child labour?! XD
It seems like that trio set are the same colour family but with different finishes? I like the look of Sookie best out of those 3.
And Frick β€˜N Frack is my favourite shade that you got. Would you say the Ultra Satin Lip is a good formula for someone who doesn’t like matte lips?
Haha cute that your sister took one of your Lippie Stix. That’s what sisters are for, right? πŸ˜‰

Right?? #childlabour✌🏻 and I said the same thing with the trio but when I swatched them I was happy with it. And the Ultra Satin Lip? I like it a lot! Infact I enjoyed it better than the NYX liquid Lingerie or the WnW Catsuit Liquid lipstick. I’m sure you’ll like it too. Just exfoliate to the highest level so it’ll feel super comfy on the lips. And lastly, YES!! She gets all my unused lippies.. hehe
