Mini-Beauty/Fashion Haul!

I know.. I know.. I have been slacking with my posts lately but I will do my best to get back on track again. As I mentioned in my last post, it’s been crazy busy these past months but I guess the craziness is almost over. 🙂

Anyway, I’ve been buying quite a few items these past weeks and I’m going to share them with you in several parts.. and let’s begin now!

L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Matte Lip Pen – Velvety Matte Color, Pigment Rich color, Perfectly Precise, no sharpener needed!
I’ve used this several times and I like it. They didn’t have much shade options but at least I got what I wanted. They are in the shade “She’s So Matte” (102) and “Game Set & Matte” (104). They are not so moisturizing but I applied my favorite Carmex Lip Balm so it won’t dry my lips and it worked. I got them at Target for $8.99 each.
Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color, Bare It All – I guess most of us beauty lovers will agree that Wet n Wild has one of the best lip products out there and the price is also The Best! The only downside is the packaging.. I DISLIKE the PACKAGING SO MUCH!!! why can’t they change them with a better cover? Every time I carry them in my purse, the cover never fails to come off and they’re just all over my make-up bag. In fact I’m thinking of depotting them but I haven’t seen a good container to transfer them to. Any suggestion you guys?

COVERGIRL Perfect Point Plus Eye Liner in Midnight Blue (220) – I have been looking for a blue eye liner that doesn’t smudge so I thought why not give this CoverGirl Eye Liner a try. They smudge on me though, probably it’s not good during this summer’s heat but don’t get me wrong the color is lovely.. Maybe during fall or winter then they might work better. Any suggestion on a drugstore eye liner that doesn’t smudge?
NYC New York Color Bold & Precise Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner, Black – You guys suggested to try this liner and Yes! they are good. 🙂 No negative feedback on this Liquid Eyeliner at all. Thanks guys! ❤

I am so excited to share this footwear and bag purchases. The sneakers is from Charlotte Russe and they were on sale from $39.99 to $9.99 isn’t it great? I love anything gold that’s why I had to buy them, it does have an orange accent that made it even cuter. They are comfy too which is a huge bonus.

Next item is this cute black sandals/wedge from NY&Co. I’ve had my eyes on them for so long but they were $49.99 until they went on sale for $14.99. What a great bargain right? I love these pair so much and they fit with any outfit in my closet. 🙂

Last item on this post is this very pretty white with brown detailed bag from Aldo. They were originally sold for $40.00 and was on sale for $19.99. I have been searching for a white bag but I haven’t seen the one that I want until finally, I saw this….Who can’t resist on this deal right? 🙂

I have never heard of this “National Lipstick Day” celebration before but hey! Why not? We all love lipsticks anyway and I want to share a quick selfie snap of what I was wearing today.

This is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Monte Carlo [SMLC10]. I love NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream so much because they are non-drying, smells really good (yummy), feels great on the lips, they also have a wide range of shade/color and very affordable too!

And there you have it…My Lip Cream of the day!

The Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer smells soooo good.. It’s actually the very first thing that I noticed and I’m sure that the quality of this bronzer is great! So no other description is needed. 😍

La Crème Color Drenched Lip Creme in Naked Dolly is GORGEOUS!! I love the shade as it’s a Satin Pink shade. It’s a bit sheer that you can use just by itself or even wear it over your favorite lipstick as well. It’s a rich and creamy lip color infused with moisturizing and strengthening benefits. The disadvantage is that it smells so yummy that you might end up applying them over and over again.. HAHA 😆

How do I clean my makeup sponge?

How do I clean my makeup sponge? But before I show you how, let me ask you these questions.

How often do you use your makeup sponge?
How often do you clean your makeup sponge?
What do you use when cleaning your makeup sponge?
What brand is your current makeup sponge?

My answers:

Since I’ve discovered the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, I have been using it since then. The result from using your fingers or brushes when applying your foundation or concealer or even BB cream is so much different when using a makeup sponge. I use a makeup sponge everyday as long as I put on makeup.
I clean my sponge every single day. Yup! everyday. Since we all take a shower everyday then why not take it with you in the shower right? I take my makeup sponge with me in the shower and wash it while I’m taking a shower. That simple! 🙂 This way, I use a clean and fresh sponge every-time I use it.
I use my facial soap to clean my makeup sponge. I find it safer for my face when using this soap rather than using other product to clean my sponge since I have a very sensitive skin.
Even though I’ve discovered the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and yes, it did a great job but I found another brand that kicked Real Techniques on the side (sorry RT). This sponge was on my last Haul post and bought it with hesitation. I was actually looking to purchase another Real Techniques makeup sponge but unfortunately, the place I went to didn’t have it so I just took the StyleWurks Blending Makeup Sponge instead with a pair of “fingers crossed” haha. You know what?? this sponge is awesome! Aside from that, it’s way cheaper than the RT. I’ve never had any issues with it since day one. It’s very easy to clean unlike the RT sponge that no matter how you wash/clean it, the product stays on and stained the sponge.

Top 5 Hair Products!

Let’s talk “Hair Care” this time.

As I was cleaning and fixing my vanity, I noticed I have quiet a lot of hair products and so I’ve decided to narrow them down to my Top 5 most reached products.

I’m sure most of us loves to use heat styling tools for our hair and I admit, I blow dry my hair at least twice a week, flat iron and even curled my hair a lot and with that, my hair turned dry, damaged and even with some split ends going on.

Heat Protectant:

TREsemme Thermal Creation (heat protection up to 450*F) Heat Tamer Leave-In Spray. I have repurchased this spray several times and I have nothing bad to say about this spray. This product works with heat appliances, protects against heat damage and I have been using this for over a year now,
Garnier Fructis -Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist. I alternate this Mist with the TREsemme spray and so far it’s working really well. Aside from the best result, I also love it’s pleasant smell. This powerful straightening mist with argan oil from Morocco protects your hair from the heat of your flat iron, while sealing in smoothness and shine for a lasting, sleek finish for 48 hours.

Garnier Fructis – Damage Eraser Split-End Bandage. This product has shown results after the first few uses, it helped my hair a lot and I noticed how my split ends started to vanish or should I say they have disappeared. The formula with Phyto-Keratin complex, containing plant-based proteins and active fruit concentrate, and cupuaçu butter, with natural lipids, works in two ways to build healthier, stronger hair and protect from future damage. I highly recommend this Bandage Eraser to all of you guys.

Pureology Anti-Fade Complex Glossing Mist, 4.2 Ounce. I have this product for years now (YES! YearS) and I am not sure if it’s expired or not as it doesn’t have any expiration date on the bottle. I only use this product once in a while or shall I say, I use this for special occasion only. 🙂 This is one of THE BEST hair product I’ve ever own and I’m almost out of it. I’ve been searching all over to find this Glossing Mist but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Perhaps it’s discontinued?? 😦 But! I checked Amazon.com (the go-to site) and waahhh it found it! However, I almost fainted when I saw the price.. It actually cost $65.85+free shipping (TOO MUCH! it only cost me $20.00 back then).. Anyway, I just spray a very small amount of this glossing mist on my hair after I blow dry, flat iron or curl my hair and it made my hair really shiny, smooth and makes your hair-colour popped even more. Bottom-line, I would recommend this product without a doubt to anyone.

Last but not the least, this is something that I just recently discovered. I wash my hair every single day and I know washing your hair daily is not good right? But what can we do? I’m not used to leave the house with unwashed hair. So, I’ve decided to try a dry shampoo. To be honest with you, I’ve never heard of a dry shampoo before until I started watching YouTube videos. Until one day, when I saw this product I thought why not give it a try. At first, it felt gross not washing my hair until I tried it once, then twice and with this Dove Refresh+Care Volume Dry Shampoo it does it’s job really well as it absorbs oil to refresh hair gently, leaving it clean, nourished and soft between washes. Even my hubby got hooked with it (haha). Great job Dove..Great job!

So yeah! tell me what your recommendations guys as I would love to try new stuff.
