Natural Home Remedy!

Let me tell you a story.. some of you might find it stu**d while some might find it helpful, some might have heard about this while some..I don’t know! But I do hope you leave a comment below and tell me what you think? now, let’s get started..

About a week ago, I craved for hotdogs.. (yes, hotdog) and I usually fry my hotdogs. It just tastes better cooking it that way. However, because of me rushing things..very impatient.. I had to cook them frozen under a very hot oil and high temp.. uhhuuuhh.. very impatient.. 😛

Now, when I tried breaking them apart with a fork it broke into half and the fork went straight to the pan and the oil went all over and a huge amount of oil went to my hand.. Yup! it did hurt and I almost panicked. I was thinking of washing them with cold water but I was scared that my skin might come off ???? so I went ahead and wiped them off and went to get some toothpaste.. Yup! toothpaste because I heard they help when you burn yourself. But, I remembered our toothpaste has mint and it’s also a whitening toothpaste so I decided not to use it as it might irritate my skin even more.

After a drama moment with tears all over my face (LOL), I did recall that my mom used to use tomato when she gets burned while cooking. Luckily we have some tomatoes in our refrigerator so I had to use them right away. When my husband saw me using the tomato he then told me to apply Neosporin…applying Neosporin is the worst idea ever!!!! OMG..😱 It felt like my hand was on fire🔥 or was poured with a gallon of hot sauce or I don’t even know how to describe it.. All I can remember is I almost passed out..👷 I ended up washing my hand and went back to applying the tomato. 🍅🍅

2015-18-5--19-20-57 — The photo on the left is taken the day after. while the photo on the bottom right is taken on the 5th day. It also burned most part of my knuckles but I missed to capture a closer photo.

I tried browsing online to find the best home remedies for burns but none of the things mentioned can be found in our home at that very moment. Gladly, I listened to my mom when I was still back home and it paid off. It’s actually healing so much better with no blisters or “water bubbles”.

One last info.. I literally went to sleep with tomato on my hand.. LOL (TMI??)😜

And yes! I still ate them.(haha).and if you’re wondering why they are RED, that’s how our hotdog in the Philippines are.. 🙂

IPSY-GLAM BAG (May Edition)

Hello Everyone!

First and foremost I would like to say THANK YOU ALL for the Love, Likes and for the Follows. I just noticed I now have 500 friends here in our blog world. I never thought I will have this much followers since I first started in January of this year.

Also, if you noticed I haven’t been posting consistently lately and that is because I was just sooo busy and something happened that prevented me from doing much. (I will post that part later)

Anyway, just yesterday I received my 2nd Glam Bag from Ipsy and I was very excited when I saw the package on our doorstep. So yeah! let me show you what I got. 🙂

The moment I opened the package, I was so happy with the bag itself. Who doesn’t love this bag??HAHA!

So far, I’m impressed.

Now, let’s check out what’s inside..

First item I pulled was this URBAN DECAY 24/7 Glide-On LipPencil. Honestly, this is probably my first Urban Decay product ever. ” yeah.. ever.. 🙂 “

Prep your lips for Revolution High-Color Lipgloss: Ozone 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil. It applies invisibly, glides on smoothly and grabs on to color to help it last. It also has two sample sizes of their Glossy Shades in Failbait and Bittersweet. (I can’t wait to try them on)

Next item is this Organic Farmaceuticals “Style Me” Roots-to-Ends Hair Oil. I am excited to try this on since I am obsessed with anything hair products. It says for ALL HAIR Types and is enriched with Argan Oil & Pumpkin Oil.

Another item is this NUXE Face Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel. Hhmm.. I am not sure whether to give it a try or not.. Again, if you have been following me since day one, you know that I have such a sensitive skin and I get pimples so easily. But you never know?? I might try this.. Just might! 😛

Another item that I was so happy about is an Eye Shadow.. Or let’s just say an “Eye Dust”. This is the Jesse’s Girl “Pure Pigment Eye Dust” in the shade BROWN SUGAR-80585. I did use this earlier today and so far so good. It’s very pigmented and since it’s in powder form it makes it even easier to blend. “Love-Love”.. ❤

Last item I got is an eyebrow color.. HHmmmppp.. This I would say ” a waste”. The reason I said this… it’s because I don’t really use eyebrow color or eyebrow pencil. I’ve never used them before and I don’t see myself using them anytime in the future. (not unless something will happen to my eyebrows then I guess I will need to use them for sure..haha)

However, for those who love eyebrow color/pencil then you guys for sure will love this. Chella”Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Color” is really beautiful and what’s cool with this is you just have to twist them instead of sharpening it..and you know what?? I might try to use this as an eyeliner?? you think this will work?? yaiks! 😛

Polish of the Week!👍

Polish of the Week time!

Just a week ago, I bought another nail polish from Rimmel London (60 seconds) and I couldn’t wait to try them on. Finally it’s time for mani-pedi so now I’m able to wear it.

If you’re wondering how I clean my nails, I always clean them while I’m in the shower. It’s easier to do it that way while you’re leaving your shampoo or conditioner on your hair then take advantage to clean those nails since it’s soaked and those cuticles are soft. My Base Coat is from OPI
Nail Polish is from Rimmel London (60 seconds) in the shade Mind The Gap, Victoria #503.
Clear Coat is from Rimmel London (60 seconds)
Lastly, to clean those mess I have to end the process with my fave Sally Hansen “No More Mistakes” Manicure Clean-up Pen.

And voila!!!!

Quick shopping! #Haul

I am so proud of myself as I was able to survive the entire month of April without buying any makeup at all. I may have had few discount coupons emailed to me but I stayed strong and didn’t fall for it. A HUGE Shout Out to my Cyber-Friends for giving me the boost to stay tough. 🙂 (high five you guys!!)

Now, it’s the 2nd day of May and I kind of bought just a few items. The first two items I grabbed is the Revlon ColorBurst – Lacquer Balm. I love these balms so much as they are very hydrating on the lips. I also love how they smell. It’s almost like the smell of a toothpaste as it smells “minty” and they glide on your lips like butter.
