Collab: $20 Makeup Haul Challenge

A few weeks back I thought why not do a “$20 Makeup Haul Tag” so I decided to tweet about it and luckily, one of our WordPress buddies Stash Matters (Thanks Stashywanted to do this tag with me or else, I will be doing a Makeup Haul Tag all by myself.. HAHA is that even possible??😂

Anyway, I am so excited to share with you what I bought with my $20 dollars (tax excluded) mainly makeup products no skincare or etc. Fortunately, I received an awesome deals from CVS Pharmacy which made my purchases even more exciting!

So without further adieu let’s begin.

BH Cosmetics Sculpt and Blend Set

If you’ve seen my previous post on What I got for Valentines Day?!? you will understand why I couldn’t resist purchasing this new makeup brush set. I have my eyes on so many makeup brushes out there but I have never really thought of which particular brand I would go for. Some of the brushes that I would really want to have are SigmaMorphe and on the cheaper line Wet n Wild and if you’re wondering why WnW when there are more better than that, probably because they look beautiful? ❤

Anyway, after I received my Valentine’s Day presents we went to Marshalls to purchase one specific item for my heat styling tools. But while I was waiting in line and standing in the “aisle of doom” I noticed this one last box of BH Cosmetics Sculpt and Blend (10 piece) Brush Set and immediately I went and grabbed them. I’ve heard and read great reviews about BH Cosmetics especially their makeup line (another item on my wishlist) so without second thoughts, they all came home with me AND I thought they are just perfect for my new eyeshadow and blush palettes too.

I will break this post into two parts so we will be able to focus a little better. 🙂

Look how beautiful these brushes are! ❤

I love the black and gold detail on these brushes, they are also vegan, cruelty free synthetic brushes, very high-quality and lightweight but very sturdy too. I’ve used a few of these brushes already and they feel so smooth, it didn’t shed, it picked up the products nicely and very affordable too. I paid $16.99 for this 10-piece set. So if you are on a budget I highly recommend that you to check out BH Cosmetics Brushes.

Now, let’s talk about each of these brushes shall we?

Description:

An artist is only as good as her tools, and our 10-piece Sculpt and Blend Brush Set is the ultimate toolkit for foolproof contouring, shading and illuminating your features. The elegant black and gold, dual-fiber collection — specially crafted for applying liquids, creams and powders — includes five face brushes and five  detailing brushes, making it easy to define your jawline, slim your nose, and create killer cheekbones, as well as highlight around eyes, fake fuller lips, and blend for a soft, seamless look. You’re ready for your close-up!

113 – Round Blending Face Brush is great for liquid foundations. If you want a very subtle airbrush effect then a round blending brush is definitely what you need. This is also ideal for loose or pressed formulas as this will really mix and blend the products well on your skin.

114 – Angled Blending Face Brush I would say is good for any powder or pressed products like blushes or bronzers. You can also use this to contour due to its slim shape, this will really hug the angles of your face or the hollows of your cheekbones.

115 – Tapered Contouring Face Brush and just by looking at the brush itself, you can immediately tell that this is great for bronzers, blush or even highlighters and because of its precise tip it can easily reach the tight areas of your face like around the nose or even on your cupids bow. This brush is also perfect for contouring.

116 – Flat Blending Face Brush is awesome for liquid or cream products. With it’s dual-fiber bristles it picks-up and holds the liquid or cream products really well.

117 – Angled Contouring Face Brush is probably my favorite of them all. It has both flat and angled shaped brush that can be used in so many ways. You can use this when applying either liquid or powder foundation, cream or powder blushes or bronzers and even good for contouring or blending your makeup and will still give you that flawless finish.

How about you guys? have you tried any products from BH Cosmetics?

t_Fotor

Hello blogger-squad! I hope it’s not yet too late to share this post to all of you.

“Just quick reminder, this is not to brag or anything but I am just so excited to share the blessings that I received from my loving husband last Valentine’s Day”.

Now, this is going to be a bit different than usual. Do you want to know why? Because I finally gained courage to do a YOUTUBE VIDEO!! Ahhhh….. LOL..

But before we proceed to my video. Let me give you a little bit of a recap as to what happened before and on Valentine’s Day! ❤

If you’ve followed me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook I’m sure you saw my early Valentine’s Day surprise that my hubby sent at my workplace last Friday. He knew that I  won’t be expecting any flowers from him because I am not a huge fan of flowers/bouquet  (I felt like they’re a waste of money coz they die so easily not unless those that are planted) BUT! honestly.. I was very SURPRISED! Look how pretty those Tulips are?? It definitely gave me some giggles when I saw them (he for sure got me on this one!) and OH! it came with chocolates too but they are long gone… HAHA

Black Radiance Perfect Tone…

Untitled_Fotor

In continuation of my Black Radiance Eye Appeal… post is a lip color that captured my attention too. I’ve never tried their lipsticks so why not purchase a couple and share a quick review.

Look how gorgeous these shades are? The packaging is beautiful too. I also like the safe lipstick cap compared to Wet n Wild MegaLast lipstick (which I really wish they will improve it). I am sucker of anything with a hint of gold and that’s probably what drew me into this lip color as well.

I purchased two colors that is a little bit too bright for my normal shade options.

Let’s take a moment and appreciate how vibrant these lipsticks are.

These lip colors are very creamy, super smooth and they are legit long lasting and it’s enriched with vitamins A and E . After I swatched them, it took me a while to remove the lipstick stain on my hands. They are full coverage with a sufficient shine which I actually like and to think, I am more of a matte finish kinda’ gal. They feel very light on the lips and moisturizing too! Meaning.. they are non-drying which is a huge plus. Another great thing about this lip color is that they are very affordable as it only cost me $1.99 for each (I bought mine at Walgreens). Highly recommended for you to try!

See how bright this shades are? I am not sure if I can pull them off but I am for sure I will rock them one day. 🙂

Quick TipFor longer wear, apply lipstick, blot with tissue and reapply.

There you have it!
