August Favorites!

Untitled_Fotor

Hi guys! In case you’re wondering why I was kinda quiet for a week, that is because I was so busy and will be busier for the coming weeks or even months. I will update you soon when I’m ready (if you even care..LOL).

Anyway, let’s go straight to my August favorites shall we?

I only have a few items to share and these are my most reached beauty products that I’ve been digging last month.

For the eyes, I’m sure you’ve seen this eyeshadow palette on my previous post. And since then, I fell in love with this Jesse’s Girl eyeshadow palette so much.

I’ve been using this loads and is currently living in my purse. I really like how pigmented and super blendable this eyeshadows are and I also love the color options that came with it.

I’ve been wearing shades A,B,C,F and I depending on my mood. Most of the time I use them just by itself since I always apply my eyeshadow(s) at work (because I always leave the house late?!?). This eyeshadow is not ideal when used wet (see shade C) as it ruins the eyeshadow itself.

For my lashes, I have been loving the Doucce Boombastic Lash Volumizer Mascara that I received from my June Ipsy Glam bag.

It’s smudge proof and flake-free which is great! I believe this is also waterproof as it takes forever to remove with water. However if you’re like me that “cries when yawning” then you might not like this because it’s not “tears-proof”. I always make sure that I wipe my eyes carefully when I get tears as it melts the mascara like there’s no tomorrow. 🙂

The wand is big with short short bristles/brush. It has a wet formula which I like and it doesn’t clump the lashes too. This holds the curl really nicely and it’s super black as well which is even better.

Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Loose Powder in Quiet & Still is my new favorite setting and baking powder. I am obsessed with this loose powder so much because it keeps my face shine-free all throughout the day. It feels very comfortable on my skin whether on top of my foundation or just by itself.

Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter, Shadow & Shimmer is OHH Soo Good! I don’t think this highlighter needs more introduction or description. I am positive that most makeup lover has this Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter, Shadow & Shimmer in their collection. All I can say is that, this product is Simply Amazing!

For the lips, I wanted to pick one just for this post but I couldn’t decide which is which so I am sharing two lipsticks instead.

If you’re an avid follower of my page, I’m sure you’ve read my previous post “Lips Talk!(lipstick haul)” and two items from that haul became my favorites.

I have been reaching for the Covergirl Katy Perry (Katy Kat Matte lipstick) in Kitty Purry. This is such a gorgeous everyday shade and a beautiful matte finish that is non-drying and long lasting. The only negative thing about this lipstick is the white packaging, it attracts dirt so easily and it doesn’t come off no matter how hard you tried cleaning them.

My second favorite is the Maybelline Lip Studio Color JOLT Intense Lip Paint Never Bare. This smells so good, super easy to apply and I love the color of this lipstick. If I feel like wearing an intense shade on my lips then this Never Bare is my go-to lip shade.
