I’m a Winner!!!! (again)

OK you guys, who would think that I will be so lucky to win another Giveaway.. this time, it’s through Instagram!

Literally… I was all over the place looking for this Limited Edition Wet N Wild Lipsticks but I just couldn’t find them at all. Until I saw this Giveaway post.. I had to grab that opportunity and had my fingers crossed hoping to win them. OMG! I didn’t know that my friend “LUCK” was with me when I entered this giveaway and I WON!

Now, let’s check out the products.

First of all, when I opened the package this OH-So Sweet “Tootsie Bunch Pops” and chocolates greeted me with a bang! Who doesn’t love chocolates and lollipops right? Carmella also inserted such a pretty Halloween greeting card that made it even more personal which is beautiful! ❤

We all know that Wet N Wild cosmetics is one of the best drugstore products out there. You can find a full line of nail products, including nail polish, clear coats and top coats. Wet N Wild also offers foundation, blush, powder, concealer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick and lip gloss.

These products are budget friendly, very pigmented with a wide variety of colors or shade options to suit your outfits and most importantly they are 100% cruelty free.

When I saw the shades of these lippies, I was a bit scared as majority of them are dark but when I tried them on, they are actually very pretty and is wearable too, it’s perfect for fall and winter season as well. I am a sucker of matte finish lip products which made me love these lipsticks even more. I can’t wait to wear them all!

Moving on to the bonus products.

Wow where did the month of July go? I hope you all are having a great summer! 🙂 It’s been crazy busy this past month or so. It’s been a roller coaster ride but let’s not talk about that instead, let’s talk about my July faves.

Now for the month of July, as always I have been very lazy and been wearing almost the same products over and over again. Most of these products I’m sure you’ve seen them in my past posts so I apologize in advance. 🙂

2015-13-8--18-28-49 — Essence Silky Touch Blush / Rimmel London ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Stick

Rimmel London Match Perfection Concealer – I use the shade 240 (Fair/Light Neutral) and this is great because it’s 2-in-1 concealer & highlighter.
Rimmel London Lasting Finish (25hr) with Serum Comfort in the shade 100 (Ivory). It’s full coverage foundation enriched with a comfort serum. Instant, perfect coverage that lasts all day. Sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof. However, I am not sure about the 25 hours part as I don’t leave any foundation all day or all night.
Maybelline “Shine Free” Pressed Powder in Soft Cameo #02 – It’s definitely “Shine Free”, lightweight and not “cakey” at all.
Essence Silky Touch Blush in the shade Autumn Peach #80 – This was a recent purchase and since then, it has been my fave, I used this almost everyday and for sure will use this over and over again. This blush is very pigmented so just a few product on your blush brush and it goes a very long way!
Maybelline “Fit Me” Concealer in Light #10 – I’m sure everyone will agree how good this concealer is so I guess no description needed. 😛
Essence Lash Mania Mascara – OMG! If only I can show you how this makes wonder on my lashes. This is another purchase from the Essence line and I never thought that it will land on my monthly favorites. I don’t think it’s waterproof but no worries as it doesn’t smudge nor flake. I love this so much! ❤
Rimmel London ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Stick/Crayon – 24hr/waterproof in the shade Bulletproof Beige #002. I take this with me in my makeup bag everyday and it’s very easy to apply, blendable and most importantly it’s waterproof. You can use this as a base or apply with other shade as well. #well-Loved ❤
Liptitude 24/7 Hydrating Lip Stain – This was in my June Favorites, what can we do? I just can’t let this lip stain go! HAHA

How do I clean my makeup sponge?

How do I clean my makeup sponge? But before I show you how, let me ask you these questions.

How often do you use your makeup sponge?
How often do you clean your makeup sponge?
What do you use when cleaning your makeup sponge?
What brand is your current makeup sponge?

My answers:

Since I’ve discovered the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, I have been using it since then. The result from using your fingers or brushes when applying your foundation or concealer or even BB cream is so much different when using a makeup sponge. I use a makeup sponge everyday as long as I put on makeup.
I clean my sponge every single day. Yup! everyday. Since we all take a shower everyday then why not take it with you in the shower right? I take my makeup sponge with me in the shower and wash it while I’m taking a shower. That simple! 🙂 This way, I use a clean and fresh sponge every-time I use it.
I use my facial soap to clean my makeup sponge. I find it safer for my face when using this soap rather than using other product to clean my sponge since I have a very sensitive skin.
Even though I’ve discovered the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and yes, it did a great job but I found another brand that kicked Real Techniques on the side (sorry RT). This sponge was on my last Haul post and bought it with hesitation. I was actually looking to purchase another Real Techniques makeup sponge but unfortunately, the place I went to didn’t have it so I just took the StyleWurks Blending Makeup Sponge instead with a pair of “fingers crossed” haha. You know what?? this sponge is awesome! Aside from that, it’s way cheaper than the RT. I’ve never had any issues with it since day one. It’s very easy to clean unlike the RT sponge that no matter how you wash/clean it, the product stays on and stained the sponge.
